Very useful, as expected
Back in June 2014, I got myself a Dell 3442 with Core i3 4th Gen and 4GB of RAM. It came with Ubuntu, but I quickly switched it to my favorite OS: I am running Xubuntu 14.04 on this laptop. Over the past few months that I have been using this laptop, I realized that 4GB is not enough!! That is especially if you open a lot of tabs in Google Chrome. So, back in July, I opened the laptop and tried inserting an 8GB DDR3 stick I had with me. But, the laptop started beeping because it can only accept DDR3L, the low power, low voltage version of DDR3. When I checked the prices at a few places, I found they were fairly costly. So, I decided to wait. But, by end of August 2014, the system had started to become unresponsive even with other apps (think large compilations, etc). Task manager in Xubuntu clearly showed that my system was thrashing, i.e., the system was using up all the RAM and was then using the swap quite extensively. So, I had to bite the bullet and shell out for this 8GB DDR3L stick. Delivery was fast. Immediately after getting it, I stuck this 8GB DDR3L stick into the ONLY RAM slot my laptop had and boot it up. No beeps this time. :) Over the past few days (writing this review in mid Sept 2014) that I have been using this stick, everything seems to have been working fine. Swap usage has gone down to nil. And the system is responsive in most cases, including too many tabs open in Chrome (think of 32 open tabs with at least 2 to 3 tabs playing unintentional and unintended flash stuff that advertisers push at us). Lets hope things continue to work fine in the future. Overall, recommended if you use your laptop for running RAM hungry apps.

Nice Product but be Careful of the Specifications before Purchasing!
1) I purchased this RAM module for my HP Envy TouchSmart 15-J109TX Notebook PC which came bundled with 8GB DDR3 Samsung RAM. 2) 8GB was enough for me up til now, but now I have been doing a lot of video editing and do no wish to wait until I run out of memory. This Ram exactly matched the Samsung DDR3 RAM that came with my laptop. CL, Voltage and Frequency, all three matched exactly. 3) Before upgrading, always make sure you match the CL, Voltage and Frequency of both the RAMs. Uneven frequencies of RAM may lead to system unstability and heating up of RAM module. And may even result in system crash. 4) Do not buy before making sure you have matched all the three attributes of both the RAM. If you need any help identifying these information of your RAM, you can use CPU-Z. Google "CPU-Z', download it and run it. I have attached a snapshot of how it looks. 5) I installed it in my HP Laptop recently and uploaded a video if anyone is interested is seeing.. https: // youtu. be/ HWNGpp2fzf0 (remove spaces in the link). 6) It's been a week and it's working fine. No issue at all. 7) Packaging is done very thoroughly, so don't worry about transit damage. And the delivery will be on time. If there's any issue, Amazon Customer Representative will take care of it. These guys are best. 8) If your processor supports higher frequency RAM (let's say X) and the RAM (let's say Y) that came with the laptop is of lower frequency(i.e. Y is less than X or Y < X), you can ditch that and sell it on eBay or OLX and purchase the higher frequency RAM to match your processor, you will see a noticeable performance improvement. See the CPU Model name in CPU-Z and then google it out, you will get to know everything about your processor.

Overall product is a good one. No issues with its genuineness.
5***** for - product is 💯 genuine. Works fantastic. Male sure to check your specifications before buying. DDR3L, 1600 MHz, pcl3-12800, 204pin laptop RAM. (Vendor - kahardiye.com) 2** for - Packing has to be done properly. Use a box along with bubble cover layer on the product pack (Dear Amazon please take note of this) 4**** for - Value for Money. Would be a little more less around Rs. 3500 3*** for - Delivery time. It might have affected due to Covid-19 situation

Go for it.
Nice product and working fine. Go for it. Before purchasing Ram for laptop. I will suggest to do research about your RAM and motherboard. I have lenovo g510 laptop. I had 4GB DDR3-PC3L-1. 35V-SODIMM-12800 RAMbefore. I bought this 8GB ram and put together. It's working fine. I checked with cpuiz software for details. It's showing ok result. At first time of installation put 8GB In your laptop alone. So that your laptop can detect hardware change. After it's boot up you can add 4gb ram later. Always check your motherboard specifications before buying. I hope this review will help someone.

it's a low voltage one so can be used as DDR3L. Working great!
I was confused with PC3L and DDR3L, It's the same. Totally worth my ₹3,698.00 with Appario Retail. I have an Acer aspire v5-573g from 2015 running with an i7 4500u (dual-core) processor and Nvidea 750M 4GB graphics card and 8GB RAM. Nowadays laptops having quad-core or Hexa-core CPUs and this one was performing slow. I upgraded it with this SSD and put another RAM totaling 12GB RAM to ease the CPU processing load with read-write operations and extra RAM for cache. the performance has improved drastically.

it was brandnew and working
the ram i have received was working properly and it was in brandnew condition, i have placed my one of my custom ram(2gb) inside the packet and it's in black color so don't think i have received black color ram the ram i recieved was in green and brandnew. Iam running ubuntu 18 on my mac book pro(mid 2012) with 4gb(2+2) of custom ram. I have removed one 2gb ram from it and added this new 8gb ram. So myy current ram size is 10gb (8gb new + 2gb old ) it's working perfectly, I will update it's status after some time.

Worked well on my Macbook pro early 2011! After some research I go for this DDR3L memory to use in my old macbook pro. Interestingly, Apple officially say that the maximum memory per slot is 4GB (therefore a maximum memory of 8GB). Also if you go to Kingston's website and check for the compatibility, it will say this memory module is NOT compatible with Macbook pro early 2011 (I am guessing it is because 2011 mac uses 1333MHz DDR3 spec). But as stated it works just fine on my macbook. It is backward compatible to 1333MHz, and the dual voltage means it can use in virtually all laptops that uses DDR3 SODIMM memory modules.

Dus ben zeer tevreden.
