Puranas are experiential, insomuch as to state: find the meaning of existence, purpose of life, and God beyond good and bad, right and wrong, finitude and infinitude. Mahabharata is a story, just as our lives- to be experienced from beginnings to endings, through justice and injustice, in joys and sorrows.These scriptures are timeless- as relevant tomorrow as they were yesterday. I hope to use this book so as to learn and eventually experience our glorious scriptures directly through Sanskrit. Thereby, even if I don't read them today, one day, if and when I do, I am confident they'll give me peace.
