It didn't work BUT
I ordered this spray hoping it would work for my puppy who has taken to chewing on furniture. I looked through the reviews and felt comfortable enough ordering. When it arrived the outside was a little slick from the product (not an issue) so I set to work spraying the areas she has been chewing. Fast forward an hour or so I was eating and just so happened to lick my finger (I had washed my hands a few times since then) and holy crap does this stuff taste horrid! I wanted to rip my tongue out my mouth until I fully flushed my mouth out! While it did NOT work for my puppy it certainly worked for me! ALSO the owner of the company reached out to me and asked if I was satisfied I told her it did not work and she offered a FULL REFUND AND to keep the product and pass it on to a friend or family member with a pet that could use it. So all in all I'm EXTREMELY SATISFIED!

He didn't even hesitate, started chewing and kept at it.
7-month old Mountain Cur. I just gave all the seams (both seam sides and the seam edge) a good spray with special attention to the corners. I sprayed it in the garage, took it upstairs, and he immediately went to work on one of the corners, gnawing away with determination and apparent satisfaction. I guess it's plan B next.

Works but Stains
It clearly states on the label to test on fabrics before you use it, but I would say that it will stain any fabric because it is oil based. It works pretty well to keep a puppy from chewing. It also works really well to keep my own fingers out of my mouth. Since it is on the furniture it gets all over your fingers and if you put your fingers to your mouth you will also taste the bitter orange. It might work well on children who bite their nails, lol. It is not toxic. So, overall yes it works, but if you want to protect your expensive fabrics don’t use it. I spray it on a towel and put the towel over the furniture and tape it in place.

It worked fast, with no bad smell.
My Dog instantly stopped chewing. He is a tail chaser, but so far this has stopped it. It worked fast, with no bad smell.

Worst tasting thing I’ve ever had waft into my mouth
Works super well for the smarter of my two cats. Unfortunately my other cat is not quite as smart and while it does still work to a degree, he sometimes ignores it which baffles me because this stuff is horrible. You can’t breathe or have your mouth open when you spray it because it will get into your mouth/nose and make you gag. It’s not even bitter, it’s like breathing in 100% isopropyl alcohol or something just as foul. It also lasts forever, sprayed it on our Christmas tree last year and when we got it out this year we were bombarded with the taste of stomach acid. Anyways, well worth the money if your cat isn’t as dumb as mine.

Good stuff, worth the extra cost. Dont bother with cheaper stuff.
I cant say enough about this. My dog did not like being left alone when I was at work, so she would get even with me and chew on my cabinets or floor. I spray it on every mornign before I leave, and she leaves it alone!!! It has a very strong smell, so you can tell nobody (dogs included) will mess with it. It is a bit expensive, but worth the cost. My Golden would just lick the cheap stuff. This she hates! It is effective, but lasts awhile because a little bit goes a long way.

This is fantastic and it works. We have some antique furniture and bought this before our staffy pup arrived home. It's stopped him from chewing, leaves no discolouration on fabric and no smell. Oldest son used it on his legs when he was fed up with pup licking. No more licking.

I have a mischievous puppy who has discovered how tasty shoes are, so I purchased this spray to persuade him that he is mistaken. I sprayed my shoes and, with a total disregard for my fragile footwear, left them beside the door. At best, I would say this spray worked as a tasty condiment for my newly savaged shoes. It seemed to have zero deterrent effect but has served as a cautionary tale for my friends and family to lock away our beloved loafers when not in use. Still, three stars for the intent and effort. Perhaps my pooch is a just pure-bred moccasin muncher.

is only somewhat effective strictly if puppy lick immediately you've sprayed something otherwise totally useless
