Anjali Sleekmat Coconut Scrapper (Silver, Steel)

The product is good but after one week of usage I've seen that suction power below the product doesn't do well. The product cannot be sticked to the smooth surface. Hence whole product becomes useless.

Nice product at this price range.

Product was in bad condition.Scrapping not working at all.Vaccum is not holding the ground.Overall waste of money on this.

Could have been better stand

VERY HANDY AND USEFUL FOR HOME USAGE, PRODUCT IS WORTH FOR PRICE.

Bought in March 2021. Used mainly during absence of servant. Total number of coconuts scraped so far - may be around 20. Photo shows how badly the hole of the crank lever has elongated under such minimum usage. The problem is that the support bushes of the crank lever are made of such poor quality plastic that they got cut quickly allowing metal to metal contact between crank rod and sheet metal. We have had the same Anjali grater working well for many years and, therefore, wonder how the quality could have deteriorated so badly. This is something for the manufacturer to take note of and improve.

I was little hesitant before purchasing it due to many average / negative reviews but it was going for just 110 bucks, so I said what the heck, let's try it and I'm glad I bought it, results are good. I scrapped the complete coconut in less than 5 minutes without much effort.Only challenge is to break the coconut in equal halves. I saw some vids on youtube for it, but wasn't able to manage it. I've seen some other scrappers on Amazon which have a special blade like thing for this. This one does not have.Also I feel the scrapper blade can be made longer farther from base, so no coconut falls on slab between base and plate during scrapping, as in this one some of it falls in the gap due to closeness. Deducting 1 star for it.For all the people, who are having problem with vacuum base, try placing it on a smooth surface like glass, granite, etc. A little bit of water on rubber pad before tighting it can also help.
