Soil arrived nicely packaged. I mainly wanted to try it so I could experience the texture for future reference. My newly reported succulent seems to like the soil so far. No transplant shock. Fast delivery as well.

Found out that all the extra bark is what bonsai trees need

I started some bonsai trees from a kit and have several trees growing over time the soil i used had settled so I order this to replenish my pots. I do not see anything special about this soil, it reminds me of plain old potting soil (fancy dirt) mixed with orchid potting mix (fancy bark) There are no claims of potential benefits or what is included in the blend. My trees are not doing any worse but they are also not doing any better.

Not a fan, mostly large wood chips and it only had 3/4 cup of actual soil in it the rest is wood Do not recommend.

excellent as expected

I use this soil as admixture to bulk bags of outdoor soil. I look at how it is described as bonsai soil as a suggestion for use. This is a good general purpose soil mix, nutritious and loose, yet with good density. Only mar on otherwise great soil is quantity to price ratio, while competitive to marketplace, loses touch with the actual purchasing power of the every day person.
