Used it to hold a 1.8 lb shower caddy (mDesign Wide Shower Caddy). Next morning shower caddy, it's hook, small container of shampoo and bar of soap found on the shower floor. So, I broke down and read the instructions: one needs to warm the sticky bit with a hair dryer. Bought a hair dryer. Carefully followed instructions. Allowed 24 for hrs for whatever magic is said to occur. Hung the shower caddy. Next morning it, shampoo, bar of soap and the stainless hook are on the shower floor. On line and in every store are hooks whose major feature is to be cleanly removable. Most are automatically so when required to hold a few pounds.Oh where are the hooks of yesteryear: the ones with a spot of glue on the back: you wet the glue, squished it around a bit and applied the hook to the wall. A few hours later you could hang yourself on that hook. Where have they all gone?

Be certain you have these EXACTLY where you want them, because they will live wherever they land. They are so strongly stuck on my wall I feel like I could hang an elephant off of them, but I will stick to my baskets. Also, they’re gorgeous. They come with a scratch protection cover on the stainless steel face so you don’t mess them up before you get a chance to use them.

I tried these with low expectations and am AMAZED at how well they are holding. I put them on bedroom doors for heavy robes, in the closet for hooded sweatshirts, used them to hang clocks and as key hooks. None of them have budged in the 6 months since I put them up. I thought surely at least the robes would test them, but they are locked in place, it seems!

I wish I could give it less; but these things are not 3M backed, they are terrible, they could not even hold a 1.5lb. clock on the wall, when following the instructions and on a wall, where premium Behr paint was used and cured for at least 30 days.

These are pretty small, the hook part is adjustable if you you need more grab area. Great for little things. I use a couple for small cutting boards with a hole in one end. I would say these are great for light duty.

I purchased these to put under my upper kitchen cabinets, by my Keurig, to hang cups. They work great.

I love these hooks! They actually stay on the wall! I hang all kinds of stuff on them. They are really strong and look good too.

It’s been several months since I bought these and they are still holding up well on the doors.
