was way bigger then I expected and I’m glad and throws big sparks and if you use a knife with a sharp 90 degree spin then you can throw even bigger sparks for windy conditions or rainy days and for the price you can’t get anything better in most stores near me they just sell the basic ones for 7$ and they suck!! I WOULD BUY THIS AGAIN!!!

Works great! I thought it was broken until I noticed the coating come off, then is sparked like crazy.

One of the softest Ferro rods I’ve used, does the job, excellent for practice fire building does require more strikes. At least in my uses.

This striker is the best one on Amazon, I ordered another brand and I was disappointed. This will be my go to forever.. 5 star for sure!!

Works as it should. Use the lip on the striker to shear off material from the rod. Cotten balls with a little Vaseline works good if you are having trouble getting it to light.
