This detangler is very effective and smells great. My daughter has very long fine hair so it tangles very easily. I can spray this on her dry hair and it makes a huge difference without making her hair greasy. It does leave a little residue that dulls her hair a bit but I don’t really mind on day two hair because I’m usually putting it in an up do and the spray gives it a little texture so it holds better. It’s pretty expensive but you don’t need a lot so it lasts a while

The detangling is adequate. It detangles as well as spray detanglers you can get at the grocery store for a fraction of the price. The smell is fine. It smells like fruity kids cereal. After 2 uses between washes, it made my 4 year old's hair kind of greasy and sticky. The stuff we use from the grocery store doesnt do that and smells better. A $22 experiment that we won't be repeating.
