Great little inverter for the money, holding up well for almost a year now powering two Milwaukee chargers in my truck. Works well, is almost silent. Just make sure you keep it out of a lot of heat because it will turn the inverter off as a safety thing.

The battery in my work laptop is pretty bad, so I use this in my truck when the laptop battery is low. It’s relatively small which is great for a portable power supply. It’s worked great for several months now with zero issues.

I’m one of those people that like to be prepared. I come from a snow state and currently living in the South, weather is definitely uncertain and at my elevation, it’s volatile. We usually get snow while the rest of the city doesn’t so with the Snow-maggeddon several years ago in Texas, and my daughter being in a snow state now, I knew it was time to level up.In case we lost power, I wanted to have a way to keep our phones and laptops charged while staying warm in the car. This does the job. Charging speed is good. I don’t allow my electronics to drop to less than 25% in cold weather just in case we have an outage. Power supply is good in our Cadillac XT6. Noise level: hardly noticed it when j tried it. I don’t even care as long as this brings us another measure of safety and reliability to my daughter who’s in Missouri and caught up in storms. I ordered two - one for myself and one for her as I’m helping her get her emergency needs together so she is always prepared and not under unnecessary stress. Waiting until things happen isn’t my things, folks. I’ve been through blizzards, power outages and have learned to prepare for survival. Trying to pass on the knowledge did my daughter so she’s not feeling helpless because that doesn’t work for me as I’m 12 hours away from her.Tip: keep the unit in the box and peek a survival box for winter with this and an extended Good Morning! reach ice scraper and brush. I’m in the Central Texas Hill Country. No one expected that Snoe-maggeddon but we were ready. There’s an entire list of things we should all have for Winter prep and I feel blessed to be able to ship these things through Amazon to my only child.Buy the unit and set it aside. It had an output of only 81.8 volts. Tried it in two vehicles to be sure it was not some sort of problem with my receptacle. When I returned it, another one was immediately shipped to mem without waiting for receipt of the first one. Second inverter worked just fine with an output of 108.1 volts. All is good now.

Great for whatever your looking for I got it to use my ps4 slim in the car and it ran great no problems the box does get hot so make sure it has good ventilation

The media could not be loaded. 280 w power supply for laptop was the reason I bought a 400 w inverter. It doesn't power the laptop continuously unless the vehicle is running because the input voltage is at 13.8 when the vehicle is off but the inverter kicks off somewhere in that range. So even when My laptop is fully charged or even disconnected just having the power supply makes the light for the inverter turn off and on repeatedly unless the vehicle is running and the voltages up over 14.2 from the alternator. I already thought that it was good that it comes with a metal body because it gets very hot but I attributed that to the 400 watt supply. It gets reasonably hot when trying to power The laptop but it still gets warm just running USB. The 12 volt plug seems like it was acting up the last couple days and today I couldn't even get my phones charged for work. Most of my work is done either on my phones or on a laptop.I noticed that the 12 volt plug seemed to be having connection issues so I pulled it and noticed that it's crooked. It has obviously gotten very hot. I thought maybe that's because I had it during the winter and my dash gets a bit warm but then I popped open the housing and found that it is melted from the inside. This thing is a fire hazard. The only reason it lost connection and could not get hotter is because it flexed. No longer works for the laptop and the only way I can get it to work for the USB is told it and a slight angle to force the connection.I'm pretty far outside of being able to return it or warranty it I'm pretty sure. I also got another one that I had to return right away because it didn't work but I don't remember what the issue was

Great device for charging phones and other stuff that has an outlet plugin. The plug-in cord for the cigarette lighter is good enough to have it in the seat, while you are outside the vehicle. The fan speed is good, cools the unit so it won't die on you. The cost of the unit makes it a easy decision to purchase.
