Was seen on a YouTube channel!
I like the Robert Bosch brand and love what they do for charity as a thanks for us buying Thier tools. I saw this piticular tool on a funny Canadian YouTube channel that reviews and dissembles new power tools of many brands to find good build quality and points out design flaws as he is a long time man of using power tools in his craft and speaking fluent man about the shop with jags and banter which he uses to make videos. The nano blade is his personal unboxing tool and yep it unboxes very well I enjoyed unboxing things as well with the medium speed wood blade but hijinks aside it is a powerful wee thing ripped through wood in seconds has a plate to guide for straight cuts on ply wood or MDF and fence posts to state a few things it's capable of tackling. study safe chainsaw usage be mindful of your work space. Charging time is around an hour to two depending on your needs or job needed cut. Over all preformance will shock you comes with a built in trigger lock for long cuts my blade is the depth of 65mm and it's a awesome bit of kit.

Great bit of kit but with limitations
A brilliant bit of kit for anybody who doesn’t want a full chainsaw. While this can tackle larger jobs I have pushed it to its limits and broken blades because of it. The biggest weakness of this device is the blades which at £30 a pop to replace does make this an expensive tool to use/ run. Does it do the job? yes - if you’re planning to use this for commercial use I’d recommend looking at other alternatives - Very much the diy’ers tool one that’s is used once in a while.

Keep away from children, wear PPE, update your insurance. This saw rips through everything!
It might not look like much but believe me when I say, this saw is not to be trifled with. The first thing I did with it after unboxing was accidentally nick my thumb trying to open an Amazon package. Admittedly, not the smartest thing I did that day; but it doesn’t look like much, is only a few inches long, and I didn’t think it would chooch that hard. I WAS WRONG! This saw is one of the coolest tools I own. It’s versatility, ease of use and general cool factor are off the charts. 10/10 Would recommend. Would also recommend reading the safety instructions and having a fresh box of bandaids at the ready (just in case).

Use like a hand held chain saw for rapid heavy duty pruning
This saw is tiny, the blade protrudes about 10cm, but do not let that fool you. This saw can cut around a trunk that is 20cms (approx) and quickly. Probably the most agile tool for gardening that I have ever purchased. It has done the job of my loppers and chain saw (electric pole variety and petrol). I bought the saw for DIY and ended up using it for heavy-duty pruning. The blade and housing are incredible (and very sharp). It cuts through wood like butter when you hit the sweet spot. I can see this type of saw being the goto saw as I get older and find hard work hard to do. It certainly makes garden jobs simple to do. It is brilliant.

Do not buy
Saw broke after first use. After weeks of trying to get to the correct Bosch department ( The one linked on Amazon is incorrect), I get a response as follows: Good afternoon, Thank you for your email and apologies to hear about the issue with your Bosch accessories. This will need to be inspected further by our workshop so please can you send in the broken bits to the below address; FAO John Bosch Service Centre Broadwater Park Denham UB9 5HJ You will also need to include a copy of the proof of purchase and a covering letter with your address details. This will then be inspected and if deemed a manufacturing defect you will receive replacements however if not then you will receive the broken bits back with a letter explaining why this is not covered. Best regards, Jan C......... Customer Service Team

Desirable but disappointing
This review is for an Amazon warehouse used item advertised at a considerable discount. This was the 18v version. The condition of the saw I received was like new . The comments below may be specific to the unit I received as it was a used item. My first impression was that this is very cute, but the blade was quite small. I made one trial cut and this was the end of the excitement. The saw would not cut near the base of the blade. There was also considerable vibration as the chain bit into the wood. I realised that this tool will not earn its living and can be unsafe. The motor is very powerful and smooth running, I am unable to comment on battery life because I haven’t used it much at all. The chain collects lots of sawdust inside the cover and this has to be cleaned frequently, however, this is very easy using a brush. I gave it 3 overall stars because it did not perform as expected and a new item is quite expensive.

Nice tool, practical to use.
Good tool for cutting various types of wood, practical to use . I have concerns about the heat the blade gets, I have found you need to keep the blade free from wood partials, take it out and clean it. All has been OK so far, I've used it to cut up pallets and it managed well.
