Weight is on point. Size is good. Very oily and greasy out of the box, it'll take time to get it clean off... chalk over time. The 5kg are not mean for dropping. So if they break from dropping that's on you. At the time of purchase, was cheapest 5kg plates I could find online.

I could have gone with the unmarked black plates that many vendors sell for far cheaper but i went for these. They are pricy but worth it in my opinion. Why? 1. The gym looks more exciting once you have proper equipment that is not only functional but also looks awesome. 2. Standard Olympic specifications. 3. Weights are clearly labeled and easily readable (yes i am particular). Straight off the box, they have a citrus kind of smell. There was a bit of oily coating on them but that is for protecting the rubber while in storage and it easily wipes away with a dry microfiber towel. It will take a couple of days to get the smell to dissipate fully. i have mounted them on the wall behind the green 10Kg plates in the pictures.

Would have given five stars, but the 5kg plates are not that sturdy, otherwise a great purchase.

They’re very good value for money and very good quality. The only issue is when putting it on the bar it feels like it’s scrapes the bar abit not sure if it’s the bar I purchased all these themselves. But they look great and again a very good for the price.
