This was by far my favorite build so far! It builds well and holds its form. I found it thrilling everytime I completed a section and connected it to another. You can really see the motor come together. I will definitely purchase another build from Mould King. The directions weren't always helpful but I was able to figure it out on my own. I was missing one piece but it didn't stop me from continuing on. I honestly couldn't remember what piece was missing in the end so it must not have been to important. If you're thinking about purchasing one, I highly reccomend it.

Difficult to build but very satisfying to see it run. Great school project for students looking at Engineering.

This is not a Lego Technic set; yet, Lego parts will work just fine. Here are the main differences: - Differ formula of plastic. MouldKing has more of a waxy feel and the plastic feels softer overall compared to Lego - Clunky patent workarounds. MouldKing wants to use certain pieces that Lego still owns a patent, so they "invented" comparable pieces. This means that you have to assemble these parts to result in a piece exactly like ones that Lego still owns a patent. These extra steps seem to slightly weaken the overall assembly, and can be frustrating due to the small size of these parts and they get stuck inside other pieces The instructions are good, but not great. If you are accustomed to the almost aggressive handholding that Lego uses in their manuals, this will have a learning curve. The mechanics and the gear systems are very stable, but it is not recommended to run it at full speed for longer than short bursts. There is a higher than usual number of interconnected gears and chains that connect together, so a small hiccup at a low speed, results in something locking up at high speed. The size of final build is about a 1:2 scale, so you need some shelf space to fit it. The motors work on six rechargeable AA batteries, which is a plus because there is no AC adapter. This kit is really only for kids ages ten or older, unless they are really skilled builders. This is not a kit for beginners or casual builders
