Great whisky, I highly recommend at this price point.

The Nikka distillery is one of the most well known and established whisky brands in Japan, having developed their craft from Scottish production methods. The bottle is rectangular clear glass and has a clean and understated design. Good for giving as present or enjoying yourself.

This whisky just tastes expensive. It's so nice and so easy to drink, it's hard to believe its 51.4%.It took me a while to buy my first bottle. I thought it was pretty expensive and I like single malts generally. When it arrived I took a nip right out of the bottle and immediately regretted my decision to buy it. It's just far too nice.I'm on my 6th bottle now. If you're weak like me, then just subscribe now and safe yourself a few quid. You won't get it any cheaper.

This was the first time i have ever tasted Japanese Whiskey and it was wonderful apart from the short spout to pour the whiskey, after trying to be careful when pouring the whiskey it still seems to fall out of the glass. Frustrating but a great whiskey.

At less than £40, this has insane value. A little water and you can experience a wide range of flavours. It's sweet, creamy, and a little spicy. All round, well balanced. It somehow trades blows with far more mature scotch, so it's definitely worth a try.

So the whisky is very smooth. May benefit from a drop of water to bring out more flavours. I like the look of the simple bottle however when it came to pouring its a nightmare. As there’s no lip it runs down the bottle and even with a glass up against it it’s still going everywhere. It’s not cheap so I might decant it so nothings wasted.

It's an excellent whisky with a hint of smoke. Very easy to drink and has a great presentation.
