This thing is cool. Works well and cuts thru branches quickly. A bit handier and quicker to use than a chainsaw. Comes partially charged ready to go in about 30min. Though I charged overnight. Zipped through about 30, 1in and 2in branches and many smaller, before I swapped batteries.

This 8" & 6" Chainsaw is easy to operate. It does have an Auto Stop and does Stop when the battery heats up. And using it to cut Smoke tree branches, Walnut trees growing up wild inside my Stream garden did heat it up twice. I went inside. cleaned it out while waiting for the battery to cool down. Lightweight, Cuts through Four inch logs, and the Auto Oil button does work well. Read the Instructions before using/and/or reviewing this product. 1) Oil the chain before use, while using, & after cutting five branches or so. 2) Charge the Batteries fully before using; 3) Let the Battery Cool down inbetween heavy duty cuts. 4) When new, tighten the chain every so often. 5) Enjoy this well design mini chainsaw

Nice case, kit with charger and two batteries, and tool. Has an "Oiler push button" for the bar/chain, but doesn't really work. I just keep a small can oiler for that now, and it works much better. Should have extra chains and sharpening files, but I bought those separately. Pay close attention---chains for these are proprietary, and not all will fit this. Chain seems well made and stays pretty sharp. Lightweight, easy to handle, and battery lasts me about an hour of good use, each. Fills a real need for trimming 2-3" branches when I don't want to fire up my big chainsaw, and makes fairly clean cuts. Does a nice job for what it is, and much cheaper than buying a $3-400 trim saw, that I would feel guilty about if I didn't use it every day. Better than most of the others on Amazon, design and feature-wise.

Lmao so my boyfriend really wanted me to use this standard chainsaw (gas & oil) which was fun till I broke it. He fixed it but I already bought this fantastic piece of equipment. So he teased me cause It looks like a toy & referred to it as my fisher price chainsaw. So we did explain to his 6yo son that it’s definitely not toy & never to pick it up. Nonetheless- I love it. My bf doesn’t make fisher price comments anymore once he witnessed it in action and even remarked how fast it is. Cut through branches & smaller logs like a hot knife through butter! I’m super impressed with it and I’ve heard from others that the SeeSee brand has a good reputation (I’m not surprised). I’m glad I ordered this one & I did so because it has an 8” bar when a lot in this price range are 6” & under. Also because it has the handle bar on the side (which is thankfully detachable) so since I’m getting old & my strength isn’t what it used to be (with my 2nd carpal tunnel surgery looming) I figured it would help. However, I found it was easier to use without the handle because it feels like it’s in the way and feels unnatural when u grip it. Otherwise I’m super impressed! It’s fast, powerful, easy to maintain (far easier than a chainsaw that runs off gas, oil, sweat, tears & frustrations. It has two batteries so I just swap them out and put the other on the charger. It comes with 2 chains also (not the rapper but a 2nd replacement chain- sorry). So far I’m impressed with my fisher price chainsaw! Electric chainsaws- they’re the sheet and u don’t have to pull that stupid cord to start it - that’s one of the things I like best.

I wasn't sold on this chainsaw from the size but the wife needed something she could use. It works for her perfectly and the batteries last a long time. I've used it as well for small limbs verus using my big chainsaw. The "Mini" works well.

This is amazing, small lightweight and cuts like crazy! One handed operation cutting easily through 4 inch logs and the oiler feature is nice too!

I was surprised by how well this worked! Lots of torque and no difficulty cutting 6” branches in my yard, or cutting firewood smaller to fit in my wood stove. After a few months, it started stalling out and wouldn’t restart unless I disconnected the battery and reinstalled it. Every. Cut. It got super annoying. Eventually I realized that it was only happening with one of the two batteries. It wasn’t the saw- I had a faulty battery! I contacted customer service, and they immediately agreed to ship me a new battery. This was 6-8 months after my purchase!! Super happy with their response and backing up of their product. Not going to find a better tool at this size and price.

EDIT: after more use and disassembly to swap the chains out, the manual oiler does work, it’s just the small weep hole to the bar gets clogged quickly. I’ve had this problem with my gas saws and I just enlarged the hole on an angle to match the oiling path and it helped. Still wish it had more power but that’s what my 395xp spoils me with. I cut down a few tall bushes to the stumps and got rid of an annoying branch 15 feet overhead. It did great cutting but the oiler does not work at all. This caused a lot of chain stretch and I stopped to adjust tension 5 times because of this. It only used half a battery to do these cuts so it’s very efficient. I wish it had more power but I use Husqvarna pro saws for a living, so I am probably pretty biased for more power than necessary, and honestly this is a great little pole saw. For a home owner I don’t think you can go wrong with this, just use a throw away paint brush to apply oil to the bar if you need to make several or heavy cuts to reduce the chain stretching. Oh and the bar held up perfectly to that abuse and the chain cut beautiful large flakes the entire time so it does seem to quality all around… other than the oiler.
