High Quality, Sturdy Cloche - A cut above the rest
I bought two of these back in February to protect my vulnerable plants during the cold winter. I thought I'd wait a few months to give feedback. Summary is that this is an excellent product, and well worth the premium other other more flimsy variants. They are a little tricky to assemble; not because of any complexity, but their size makes them ungainly and you really do need two people to help hold them up while you insert the bolts. We are both the least DIY-savvy people we know, but managed to assemble these in ten minutes each; just have a screwdriver handy, and don't forget to install the rigid metal bar across the top and attach the (slightly) decorative handle to it!It's a good height off the ground so most plants have space to grow without being limited, and quite a sizeable area so you can place several pots and trays in each one.The PVC is durable and hasn't clouded up; there is a small rotary vent at the side so I'm still using it as the weather warms up (slightly!) to bring on plants which are lagging somewhat. Some modest rust on one or two of the bolts, but nothing serious. The black metal frame is sturdy and (so far) rust-resistant. It looks smart outdoors, and an ideal gift for any keen gardener who doesn't have space for a permanent glasshouse; especially useful as the season draws in and in late Winter.

Fiddly to assemble
This is a good cloche once assembled. However, assembly is a two person struggle likely to take half an hour involving some expletives. So i would suggest you make up some temporary sturdy cardboard strips with slots in them the same width as the base of the cloche to hold the plastic in place and to prevent its natural and stubborn need to recurl itself back into a roll. Assembly may then be easier. Even better would be if the manufacturer provided the cardboard strips already prepared!

Nightmare to put together
Extremely difficult to put together. This is definitely a two person assembly job but even then very hard to attach first end. The screws for attaching the handles were too long and we had to use washers to make it fit. Once assembled itβs fine but it took 2 hours of frustration to do it.

Poor Quality product
Had to send it back. It could not be assembled because the heads of pop rivets coincided with bolt holes, so the bolts couldn't be inserted. I am amazed that a shamefully poor item like this one should be offered at such a high price.

When you put this together it is fantastic, looks lovely
When you put this together it is fantastic, looks lovely, better than any I have seen in garden centres, seedlings grew much better than in my conservatory. Now my plants have grown it is very useful for seeding bald patches of my lawn! However it is challenging to put together, takes two and perseverance but worth it.

good quality
an attrractive, sturdy cloche. Nearly didnt buy due to poor reviews about assembly. However we had no problem. It does take 2 people but ignore instructions to order of attaching screws. Fix one bottom screw first to secure plasctic and then roll round gradually fixing screws as you go. Had it constructed in 15 mins and planning to buy another.

Flimsy and difficult to put together
Much flimsier than I expected. Two of the screw threads were damaged and I had to cobble something together with thinner screws. Didnβt find this out until I was well into putting it together, very annoying.

Useful item
Easier to put together if the cloche is stood on one end. Used to cover seedlings in winter.
