Plantronics 81083-01 Replacement Headset for CT14 , Black

This is the greatest headset phone. WORKS WONDERFUL. Having my hands free to cook use the internet or anything else I need to do while on the phone. I JUST LOVE IT. I HAVE GIVEN IT AS A GIFT TO MY SISTER AND COUSIN. THEY LOVE IT TOO. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. THIS IS MY SECOND ONE. I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IT. GOOD SOUND AND LONG BATTERY LIFE.

I've been using the CT14 for about a decade. By today's standards, I'll admit that it's a bit "old school," but the sound quality, range and battery life can't be touched by most of the more modern alternatives. Eventually, though, the wire between the headset and handset wears out where it's secured behind the belt clip - I'm on my third headset and all suffered the same fate. Thankfully, though, this replacement is absolutely identical to what ships with the CT14. The quality, clarity and comfort are just as I'd expect.

Perfecr replacement for your CT14 phone. I use my phone daily and catch the cord on item pulling it loose from the phone. So based on the abuse I give the phone and headset, I fully expect to buy a new one each year. The phone is rock solid, the headset fron this supplier is perfect, fast and had ZERO issue. Great seller and product. Avoid the price of a new haedset and buy this refurb. It is worth it!!!!

I have MS, so I can't hold up the phone. I depend on these phone headsets. Sadly, there aren't very many out there anymore! This one feels a bit chintzy. Sound quality is OK most of the time, but not all of the time. There is no volume control or mute, either.

I had an old, over-the-ear headset that worked really well and I really liked it. Then, the cats got ahold of it and that was that. I had a headset similar to this for my work phone many years ago and I loved it. I was so excited to find this version which is compatible with my cordless landline phone. This headset has the option to be worn over the ear or over the head and it's very easy to change between the two options. Sadly, Plantronics/Polycom does not have a newer version of this headset, so I will guard this one.

I have been using the plantronics headset for years. Generally it has worked really well but the last one we purchased only lasted for 4 months then stopped working.

I can't rave highly enough about my Plantronics phone. I don't use a smart phone and hate cordless phones, both of which require one hand to constantly hold the phone against the user's ear. I love the hands free aspect of my Plantronics phone, and ordered a replacement headset for it after I feared I had damaged the original one after the cord caught on a doorknob and yanked the ear piece right off my head. Fortunately, it did not damage the unit, but I ordered a spare, just in case I ever do damage the original. I absolutely cannot be without my Plantronics phone!

I've used Plantronics phones and headsets (both wired and wireless) in my job for years and I have to commend them on their products and excellent customer service. This headset worked very well with my existing unit. The last one lasted for years, and the only reason I needed a replacement was because I (accidentally) yanked the cord out too many times (getting it caught on items as I walked around) and bent the pin. The headset DOES come with a clothes clip so you don't get the cord caught on anything (maybe I'll actually use that this time).
