The Oxford Picture Dictionary English/haitian Creole 2e: Bilingual Dictionary for Haitian Creole-speaking teenage and adult students of English. (Oxford Picture Dictionary Second Edition)

I originally purchased one for my husbands family who is fluent in Creole and not English- but then I had to purchase myself one too! It is geared towards an English speaker learning Creole but husbands siblings could use it just as fine. Our Haitian family has gotten a lot of use out of this. I know there are so many language apps out there that can read the words for you and help with pronunciation etc but I’m so glad a book like this exists because many places in the world do not have reliable internet access and a book is the best choice. Please don’t stop making these types of books: people really do benefit from them more than you could know.

I wish I had a book like this 47 years ago when I went to Haiti. It would have been a wonderful resource.

I am learning Haitian Creole and purchased this book after looking at the online preview and reading the reviews. It has so much vocabulary I can use and learn. The pictures will be a big plus since adults are more visual learners. My Haitian friends took a look and wished they had the book when they were learning English. They had other similiar books but nothing this great they told me! I am absolutely satisfied and can't wait to jump in and learn more and more vocabulary words in Creole to add to my basic knowledge of the language.

Its very structured ..i like the book ..easy to read too
