Good shape and I appreciate the lightweight thin design, but too limited in sizes
I'll be passing these along to a friend, as I am unable to use them. Can only fit index/middle/ring (sorta), leaving no good fit for thumb or pinkie nails. It's a shame because they seem well made and excellently priced. Revised 1/2024 - figured out I can adjust the thumb fit by slightly filing the edges to narrow and the base to change that curvature! (Yes, I felt dumb for not thinking of it first.) Pinkie nail was fine, don't know why I didn't like it the first time. I've now worn these twice and been absolutely delighted - they are easy to apply and shape, lightweight enough to feel relatively normal and very comfortable, and they took polish like a dream. Not a chip or wear mark the whole time. Still wish I could order the specific sizes I need, now that I know what those are.

Good value. Nice nails
My teen daughter wanted nails done for a dance. I was not about to spend 50-60 dollars on fake nails at a salon. So I ordered these and glue. It worked out perfect. They look really nice. The only thing is that the thumb nail sizes were a bit to big for her thumb. Because we were in a hurry I didn't have time to file the thumb nail down around the sides. So we just used it as is. I think for my first time applying nails, I did good. I googled "how to apply acrylics" for tips. I suggest if this is your first time also, to do the same I ordered the "short" nails because I think my daughter is to young for the longer length. They could have been shorter. I imagine the "long" length are VERY long. Overall, a good value. They are sturdy. Before you glue on the nails you will have to file the tips just a little bit to file off a piece of plastic that sticks out. I have a few special events coming up and I will be using these nails for that day.

Seem good quality, but important to know sizing quirks
I got the short clear oval tips. I'm no pro, but I've been doing full cover tips of some sort on myself for 20+ years to keep me from picking my nails, so I know what works for me and what doesn't and know how to make them look pretty natural. These seem like high quality full coverage tips, and I really like Makartt products in general. That said, I am returning these because they will be unusable for me without a ton of modifications. There are some important sizing issues that buyers should know going in about these, because they can impact how you wear them: - they run SMALL... I'm talking 3-4 sizes smaller than most U.S. full coverage tips. I have quite small nail beds already, but these were verging on child sized. I typically wear a size 3 or 4 on my thumbs and a size 10 or 11 on my pinkies. With the Makartts I had to go to 0 on the thumb and 7 on the pinkie. - the sizing also seems a bit inconsistent between sizes, meaning there's a larger jump between some sizes and smaller jumps between others. Within a bag they seemed all the same, so at least quality control seems good. - the c-curve is pretty flat to begin with, and if you do any filing to adjust the sizing it quickly flattens more. Because they are so sturdy, they resist bending which is normally a good thing for strength, but in this case it's not so good because of the next point. I already have flat nail beds on most my nails and normally have to fill the c-curve of most full cover tips with gel or glue, but these tips were so flat that the side walls were floating up in the air! I've never experienced that before. - the cuticle line is super square in all sizes. Normally most people's thumbs have more of a square cuticle line and smaller fingers have more of a curved cuticle line, so many full cover tips reflect this. Still, since everyone's cuticle and finger shapes are different, many of us are used to lightly shaping the cuticle line of tips to get them to fit better. However, filing the cuticle line of these tips caused the c-curve to flatten even more and I ended up with floating side walls. Overall, I just couldn't get these tips to fit me without a ton of adjustments and they just ended up looking odd. There's better fitting tips for me out there so these weren't worth it. Perhaps if you have super flat, super square, super tiny nail beds these will work better for you. I still love Makartt, just not these tips.

Detailed review here!!!
Let me start by saying that I have always got acrylic nails because my real nails are so thin and even when they grow out, their shape is weird and they never look nice no matter what I do. Acrylics however are so bulky and expensive. I decided to try to find a cheaper and more natural alternative and this is it!!! *these are pretty long but I was able to cut them to size *they are clear so you can see the nail polish through the nail like a natural nail *they appear to be strong with multiple layers of polish. I’m on a week of wear and no chips yet! *customizable!!!! So what I did was clean my hands, make sure they are bacteria free. I used rubbing alcohol on the nails as well which also helps dry them out. I then file the tops of my nails so create a rough surface and I also file the inner part of the fake nail so it too has a rough surface when gluing to my finger. This is so important!!! When I glue them on, I used a glue that has a brush like a nail polish, and I paint the glue on my nail and a tiny bit on the fake nail. I press them on to make sure there’s no bubble or air and I also make sure the mail fits perfectly to my finger! If not, it will lift and chip. After my nails are on, I then cut/file them to the size and shape I want. I go over the top of each mail again and rough the top up with a file so the polish sticks nicely! But DO NOT USE ACETONE REMOVER or your fake nails will melt right off lol. You can see the process in my photos! My nails look so natural which is what i wanted! And boy are they STUCK on!! Follow this method and your nails won’t budge!!

Good product but sizing runs very small!
I love Makartt nail products and I use their tips exclusively. I decided to order the short round full coverage tips to make shaping easier. I was so excited to use them but very disappointed to find the sizing way off. I’ve been using Makartt tips for years, so I know the sizes for each of my fingers. When I went to size the short round tips, I found the sizes that fit my nail bed started to round out too soon and left my nail edges exposed. In order to cover my entire nail, I would have had to size way too big for my nail bed and do a ton of filing to the base. It would have been way too much work so I just decided to return them instead. I guess I’ll try another length to see if I can get better coverage, but I prefer short nails so it doesn’t really eliminate the filing and shaping. I may try another brand to see if they work better.

Shape is strange and hurts adhesion
I make press ons professionally and have used many different brands. By far this is the worst one I’ve used. Yes these are for a natural more flat of a nail bed, but they are so flat that most of my clients are complaining of gaps on sides of nails. My own nails don’t have a natural apex either and I tried them, they do the same. You also have quite a bit more prep to do than other nails I’ve used. The shaping on these is really messed up. Especially with around the cuticle way too bulky. But I’ve also noticed you can only get away with filing so much because at a certain point in the nail it has absolutely no curve at all, if you file into it you make even bigger gaps when you put it on yourself or client. Only ones I’ve gotten to stay without gaps are ones with no filing and some do still gap. Which is terrible because the shape of the nails is supposed to mimic your own nail bed shape in order to look like a shop did them. And I specialize in making nails that are sturdy and have the look of acrylics from a shop. I also noticed that some nails are sized weird. Like the 4 was covering my cuticle and too big, but the 5 didn’t completely cover my nail plate and hat gaps between nail and side walls. Never ran into that issue before. I would try to return these and buy something else but I know it’s past time to return. I typically do XXL sets so it took me longer to figure out that not only are these thangs shaped/sized weird, but if you try to file them to look right they leave giant gaps. Never had another natural type nail do that. I’m going back to Apres. They’ve got their s%|* together. 😂

Doesn’t tear skin
I’ve been doing my own nails for a few years. Liquid glue is super messy but cheap. But you get what you’re paying for. The malleable glue is much much easier to use and work with. And get off your hands and fingers! Works great for full coverage nails but they shouldn’t be dark colored or your nail lamp can’t penetrate your nail and solidify your nail glue. This type of glue will change your nail game! Remember to give yourself time to apply properly or you’ll be shooting liquid glue under your nails in an attempt to keep them from popping off. Use this type of glue for a long lasting home manicure 💅

Game changer
This gel glue is fantastic and so easy to apply. I will say a little goes a long way with this and if it overflows from under the nail it just wipes away so no mess!! It’s a game changer and will last. There no smell and I find it’s gentle on my real nails after I take a set off
