Great Value - Works with Windows 11
Works with Windows 11 and is a great value.Must download drivers separately from the internet before to get Win 11 to work easily. There is a large thread about this on reddit. Item was easy to install and both normal and half height covers were included.

Great Card on an Older Chip, Need to Manually Install Drivers
This is an older chip as others have mentioned, but it's still plenty capable of the advertised 10gbps speed. The price is on point, being among the cheapest options for 10gbps networking. There's no issues with build quality or compatibility that I've run into. The one thing to note with compatibility is that Windows does not include drivers for this device. You need to install them from the disk or from online before the NIC can be used. I've taken to adding the driver to the USB thumb drive I use to reinstall Windows. Otherwise, there's no bloat. Installing the drivers is painless, and quick. After that it works like any other network card.

LinksTek X520-DA1 10GbE SFP+ Fiber Ports Ethernet Adapter for Servers
This is a clone of the old Intel X520-DA1. Drivers were included on a mini-CD and worked fine in Windows 10 with a twinax cable. I did not test it with a fiber or RJ45 adapter. Clones do not work in all products so do your homework. 5 stars for the price and Windows compatibility.

I'm using it on a TrueNas Core 13 system with no issues. Drivers were automatically loaded and was up and running with no issues.

Did not work with QNAP NAS!!
Unfortunately, it did not work with QNAP NAS. Though, this card always comes out when searching for QNAP compatible network card on Amazon.

10Gbs NIC
Solid build with good components including an Intel controller under a beefy heatsink. Full strength signal at the full 10Gbps rated speed. Easy to install and get going with included SFF plate or full size. Useable with both Ethernet or Fiber SFP. Excellent value for the dollar by skipping a brand name.

Older chip, but still gets roughly 10Gbps
I acquired this card because I was having some network issues and the spf+ to rj45 adapters I was using were getting fairly toasty in a switch with no built-in fans. This card works great with the DAC cables I bought from Amazon. No more connectivity issues (although I blame the spf+ to rj45 adapters). I installed this in a PCIe slot, installed the windows drivers, connected the DAC cable and away it went. I did an iperf3 test (see photo) and got roughly 10Gbps (~9.30Gbps over a few tests). This card might not always get that speed depending on the network traffic, but it is fast enough for my needs. It came with a low profile adapter which is a nice option to have for a thinner server. The price of $40 is fair though with an other chip you might be able to find it cheaper. The only drawback I could say is that it has a very bright green led that might annoy some people, but its fine to me because it is in a server closet. I recommend this card if it suits your needs.
