This brand is very famous brand in Korea. My grandparents and parents have this brand's nail care sets. They never buy or use other brand ever because this brand's set that they have it still working fine. They used for about 10 years (maybe more) but they still do their job very well even though the edges got dull. Whenever I asked them where and when did they get this set, they always told me they remember who gave it but not sure about when they got it because it was such a long time a go. They never sharpen it ever, but even after 10 years of frequent using, it still do their job very well. I bought this only because I couldn't find any other good nail care set that has better quality with reasonable price since I moved out from my parents house. Also, I tried a lot of different brands' nail clippers but none of them was long last or reasonable price compared the quality. These set may not the perfect quality you want, but I am sure this is high quality set with 3 different size of clippers compared the price and it will long last than most of other products. Also, it has cover on the side of clippers to catch nails which is my favorite part (still some nails will fly, but MUCH LESS FLYING). I gave one simple cut on my nail and you can see very clean cut from my nail.

I finally decided to get a new manicure set after being fed up with the look of my nails. I don't like going to a nail salon, because I don't trust sterilization practices and never took time to do some research and maybe find a place I could be comfortable with. After reading reviews on amazon.com I decided to get Three Seven 777 Travel set, and I am glad I did.The instruments are great quality and sturdy, but at the same time very delicate during the application and comfortable to use. The variety included in the set is more than enough to maintain my nails. I especially like nail clippers' design: the sides are closed in, allowing to discard the clippings in controlled manner instead of clippings flying everywhere. Now that I know that not all nail clippers are the same, I will get 777 brand for my husband and will no longer have to be upset when finding his nails spread all over the bathroom. And I can also ditch my old scissors that I used to cut my nails, because I thought that all nail clippers have tendency to spread clippings everywhere.The other instruments are just as great, and even the case is designed well to fit everything nicely in it. My nails already look so much better just after a few manicures.I can't review the durability of the product, since I have owned the set only for a few weeks, but it looks and feels as if it will last for years. I am very happy with my purchase.

Since the original 777 manicure grooming set I bought in 2016 is no longer available I decided to buy this newer 2021 set. For the most part, each tool is the same except for maybe one item is different. The pieces in this new set work flawlessly just like the 2016 set so I am happy. They are well made from carbon steel with gold colored chrome overlay. However, the biggest difference with this newer set is in the storage box which is now a soft fake leather case instead of a hard case with molded plastic insert where each slot fit each tool and had magnets to keep them in place. This new set just has cheap bands that holds each item but, over time they could become lose and useless. Overall, still highly impressed with the way each piece functions and does it's job which is what really matters. The price now is $27 but, back in 2016 I paid $35. The big difference in price is because the hard case with plastic insert and magnets is more expensive than a fake leather zippered wallet.The photos show a comparison between this version (2016) and the newer one (2021). The 2016 version is on the right & bottom in most of the photos. Then there is a close up showing the white molded insert of the 2016 version that keeps the items in place via magnets. I recently visited Korea, and brought myself a 9-piece KAIST-branded 777 Nail Clipper set to the US. When I showed it at home, everyone wanted one. I wanted to buy one quickly and gift it, but was apprehensive of the cost and quality of the 777 sets in the States. This is a good item for gifting, with all the nice gold plating, multiple tools, and quality case.When I came across this one on Amazon, I was still doubtful of the quality. I was happy it was of the exact same quality (all the parts and the case) as the one I brought from Korea! The cost too was the same in spite of having been imported!!

The clippers are sharp and cut well. However, the nail clippings get lodged inside the clipper and can be difficult to get out due to the sides of the clippers being covered. Some of the smaller tools feel like they might bend easily if you push down too hard on them. They are very light and delicate. Overall, the tools are sharp and work well.

I'll give it a five. Tis a nice looking set and looks to be precision built. The set was for the girls (3 teen daughters) as part of a foot care kit.I'm not the judge but the girls give the -ThreeSeven777- set a big thumbs up. They have been using Walmart clippers and these are not only "totally better" (their words) but the kit contains several tools they still haven't tried - or figured out. I think the zippered pouch could be slightly bigger in all dimensions but it doesn't matter since once the girls got it - it was gone to their​ inner sanctum..
