Great value and Great performance
A solution was needed for running our washing machine, plus general household devices like lamps, TV, room heater and more. Our other inverter would make hissing noises when connected to the washing machine and advice had been to go for a high frequency type instead. This Topbull 2000W was selected because it states there is a high frequency transformer inside.Unboxing the unit was a delight, the inverter itself sporting a solid metal build and even strong mounting points for placement on a wall. Included were good quality connecting cables, a bag of fuses, a remote display (with long connecting cable) and a very good instructions manual,Connecting up was easy enough, to our pair of 100Ah LFP batteries and the unit features extra brackets,to be placed back over the screw terminals to avoid any chance of a short circuit. It was ready for some tests.Surprisingly, on connection of an 8W LED room lamp, the display actually said 8W.... can't get better than that!Another test was with an infrared room heater, which was correctly displayed as drawing 480W on low, 970W on medium. Now for the big test, running the washing machine. An extension cord was attached and the Samsung Energy Star washing machine connected. On power up, the inverter was quiet, displaying various wattage readings as the machine spun up and began its run. By midway through, the inverter was still whisper quiet. For the final spin cycle, an extended 500W draw, the fans kicked on of the inverter, which were no louder in reality than a couple of computer fans. The fans are quieter than others I have heard, but strong enough to show the internal temperature decrease on the front display. The washing machine finished its run - the experiment was a complete success. No issues, no dramas, it just worked! This unit has replaced the one we were previously using for daily household solar power. In summary, the Topbull 2000W pure sine wave inverter is excellent value for money and does exactly what you would expect. It also works very well as a watt meter, to monitor outgoing power requirements of connected devices.

Not the best
Good for running things around 250W and below. Electronics like TV's, PC and small window unit AC do not do well with this inverter.

This one works better than advertized...
I have used several different smaller watttage inverters over the last few years. Therefore, I was curious as to what the limitations were for this Topbull unit. As soon as I received it, I put it through the paces. At first, I was a little concerned about the fans kicking on as I powered it up. I thought that would be a power drain if they ran all the time. However, I was pleased to see that it is a normal start up function and the fans stop after a moment once the unit fully boot up. I powered two 60 Watt light bulbs, a space heater rated 750 Watts on low heat and was able to boil water on my hot plate simultaneously. Over this 30 minute test, the unit remained cool and never did kick on the fans. It wasn't untill I intentionally added a heat gun to the mix that the unit kicked into overload status and I heard the familiar overload warning sound. I have since built myself an emergency power board using this unit and have every confidence that it will provide my family with essential electricity in an emergency.

Stable and works well
This inverter does exactly as advertised, well. I connected it to a custom solar battery power station and it successfully, charged/powered phones, tablets and smaller batteries via its USB ports, even while the inverter is off.The inverter also successfully ran a 1500w heater, and level 1 charged my electric cars at speeds from 200w to 1400w... With the higher speed depleting the solar battery quicker, of course. The external display and control was not why I bought this, but now having used it, I wouldn't buy otherwise. It makes everyday tasks quicker and easier. I was also pleasantly surprised that the power buttons on both inverter and external control are individual toggles, so I don't have to worry if I turned on the inverter to work the external control. Both just work, regardless of the others physical position.Overall, this is a very well engineered product that included features that I didn't even know I'd appreciate.

Great inverter
I have had many inverters. This one has provision for wired remote control. The fan turns on at the beginning to verify it works then shuts off when power output is low and cooling is not required. It saves some energy. The idle consumption is around 12 W. I didn't test max power performance.

Operated properly for only ten minutes before the output went completely dead
The unit operated properly for only ten minutes before the output went completely dead. The load was only a 50 watt light bulb, should be easy for a 2000 watt inverter. I contacted TopBull who suggested that I change to a higher wattage load. I did, still no power output. I returned the email, noting the output display showed "voltage out = 0 volts", and "wattage out = 0 watts". My initial contact was 9/19/2024, today is 9/26/2024. Only one response from TopBull in seven days. TopBull literature and operation manual state "satisfactory solution within 24 hours". I'm still waiting...

Emergency Power
I bought this for emergency backup power should we have a blackout. I have only tested it on a minor load, but it seems to work as expected. The cables supplied are rather short and you will need special clips to attach to a battery. The status display on the unit and the extension control are very helpful. They provide output voltage and wattage along with input voltage so you can monitor the state of your battery source. The extension control is a bonus you don't find on most inverters.
