Very good make great value for money found it very easy to set up love the chain tension very easy, did have a slight problem of my own doing caught a bit of metal whilst cutting which unfortunately broke the pulley so got intouch with dovaman who was only to happy to help sent me a part no problem.

Motor, chain guide and chain need assembly but pretty straightforward. Value for money and very good build quality, cable length good, made cutting my logs a breeze, glad I purchased it.

Was as expected and does the job.

Seems robust and well made. Set up to use in about 10mins and having added oil ( which I already had) and I was good to go. Cuts just as well as my troublesome petrol chainsaw with less faf. I went for a corded machine to avoid battery issues given that I will use only occasionally. My domestic jobs do not call for the freedom of movement I might have given up so not an issue there. Lots of comments about the chain tensioner but I found it great. Very easy to use and adjust without tools. I tended to check chain tension and the oil level every 5 or 6 cuts and it was a breeze. I was cutting old 10cm fence posts in seconds. All in all highly recommended for the domestic user.

The chainsaw does work fairly well but the chain needs tightening every so often otherwise it snaps off. Also, if you leave it on the ground for a short period, the oil starts to leak out. I would spend a little more and get a petrol one.

Needed to clear a laurel hedge. Hard work with hand saws, with over 20 to do. By hand took an hour to clear half a laurel (they’re well established). With this saw, finished that and did three more in same amount of time. I’d say, look at the chain pack for fitting instructions, better info than booklet. Make sure you tighten the chain fully. Oil is a must, I got the associated brand litre. I made sure to take the cover off and give it a good clean afterwards - the sawdust accumulates due to the chain direction. Easily cut through 4”/10cm of hardwood. Don’t think you can swing/lop twigs and skinny branches, they’ll whip back. I’d very much recommend a decent face guard. Treat with respect and this product can make garden clearing etc much easier. You’ll spend most of the time getting rid of the stuff you’ve chopped down! Bought for £76 and that’s a bargain.

Didn't come with oil - fine, bough some. Filled it up - totally broken from factory. No power, nothing. Absolute waste of money and time.

Great saw, very powerful and easy to use. Cuts through wood very well compared to other chainsaws that I’ve used.
