Q: Hello, does this player "upscale" VHS tape to DVD as well? I can't quite tell from the description?

You can copy from video directly onto a blank DVD disc or from a DVD disc back onto video tape. It is very efficient with easy to follow instructions. I do not understand 'Upscale', it's just a direct copy. Fiona

if you have the instruction book it should cover this as its not easy to give the instructions from memoryif i remember correctly you put in the vhs in the slot and put it to the beginning of the part you want to copy then press stopput in the dvd and you may have to format it.. and a note on screen saying that to play the dvd on other machines it has to be finalised...so "finalise after recording"...yesthen the rocker button on the right hand side you press > which should be vhs to dvdthe recording process begins..leave the tv onthen at the end of your recording either the vhs stops or you stop it and the screen should saydo not eject dvd until finalising is carried out....push the ok and finalising should begin...this can take some timewhen finished then either the dvd pops out or you eject iti found it complicated and without the instruction manual section..."recording vhs to dvd"..i am only recalling from memory...quite some years i might say...it definately covers this in the manual i hadgood luck

Q: Does it come with a warranty? If so how long. 1 year ??

I got a 6 months warranty, which l felt was more than enough time to use all the functions and make sure everything was working correct everythly. It is a brilliant machine. I mainly used it to put all my old vhs onto dvd, which was really easy. I'd recomend it, great piece of kit.

Hello..Yes it definitely will play and copy etc small camcorder dvds etc..I have just bought this machine and it has played and copied all mine no problem !!!

Versatile, easy to use, and previous one lasted for years

Bought this in 2019 and used most options every day since till it finally broke--as ever, the Remote goes before the machine. This 'new' one arrived swiftly, sensibly packaged, with actual written instructions as well as all main connections--just 2 AA batteries for Remote not supplied, so easily and cheaply remedied. The machine isn't too bulky, is easy to install once hooked up, and easy to operate. Only flaw is Eject Button must be done manually, but as need to insert/remove DVD/VHS by hand anyway, NOT a problem. I am really pleased with it, as I was with previous one.

It came with all the wires, remote control and instructions as advertised.

As it was a refurbished top of the range Panasonic VHS DVD Combi I had it delivered Tuesday 7 July 2020. I set it up today with the HDMI lead as brand new televisions do not have scart connections now . It works perfectly and I'm very satisfied with it. Is there any warranty on this product?

Disappointed

The remote was not compatible to the dvd/vhs. The instructions copied and printed out also not eligible to read. Unable to use didn't work. Had scratches. As you can see the dvd slot couldn't close. Now requesting refund. Returned via post office.

That it works.

At last can view all my tapes and put onto dvd . Gives more storage space…gives my good lady more space for another pair of shoes. Arrived on time, e mailed seller for pdf of instructions, got the pdf in minutes. Spot on.

does what it says on the tinand for our 12 vhs to dvd copies of home movies saved us the cost of the combi in others doing it for useasy menue instructions for all actionsmain use is dvd recording and no obviously digital broadcastsgood product in one body...not a lot of cables requiredreplaced our vhs, dvd players and freeview box.
