4 pin EP26 LED Turn Signal Flasher Relay Compatible with Jeep TJ Wrangler 1997 1998 1999 2000 Compatible with Dodge Grand Caravan NEON 93-99 56009339 Hazard Warning Relay (Not fit 01-06 TJ Wrangler)

I recently installed new LED taillights on my 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0. I love this vehicle, and am always looking for new upgrades. It's one of the most modern TJs on the road at this point, just filled with gadgets and electronics. I love the new taillights, but when I tried to use the turn signals I got the dreaded hyperflash. Luckily I saw this a little before I installed and had it handy.This relay fixes the hyperflash. I believe the problem is the voltage draw of the LEDs is so low the Jeep thinks the bulb is dead and does the hyperflash to alert you. This is guesswork and pulling from information I had years ago, so take that with a grain of salt. Regardless of the reason, this relay does work.Installation isn't terrible. You have to remove the knee bolster (the plastic piece under the steering wheel) and the panel behind it, which is something like 6 or 8 screws total. I'm not 100% sure because I had already taken mine out and only used 4 screws to hold it on. Directly to the right of the steering column is the relay.Once installed it worked like a charm! The hyperflash is gone and I can enjoy my new taillights.If you're looking to upgrade your taillights I highly recommend this relay!

This was a direct plug in replacement for my TJ flasher relay. After I upgraded my lighting to led I was getting the fast flash from the original relay. This was rectified by the addition of this new relay. My lights are nice and bright and function now the way they were intended to.
