I liked this probiotic. I have tried many probiotics to help me with constipation and gastritis. Most of the times I didn’t feel any difference. But this is actually helping! I’ve been going to the bathroom regularly. I liked that it contains Inulin and the appetite suppressant is a plus.

This review is for Built by Nature Akkermansia Muciniphila Probiotic Supplement. I am always looking for a good probiotic. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry when I chose this Akkermansia. The first thing I should have looked at really well were the ingredients. The fructo-oligosaccarides and the inulin are ingredients that positively do not agree with me. The next thing that I consider important is to look for badges that indicate that these supplements were 3rd party lab tested The information on the bottle indicates they are "Lab Tested" but there is no indication of such on their website. They state they are non GMO but again, on their website, there is no indication of such. On the bottle there is a badge that says "Bottled" in Usa! There is no indication of the source of their product. They do have a cGMP badge on the bottle but no such information on their website. Also, there is no information about the brand or founders. Another point that was important is that there are very few studies and very little research on this probiotic at this time. I wish I could recommend this product, but I can't for a few reasons. Firstly, I was not able to give it a good try due to my personal health issues. Secondly this brand is not very transparent about who they are and about their this Akkermansia supplement.

This product is great. I became aware of this strain of probiotic through a longevity newsletter. The author recommended a much pricier brand (with affiliate kickbacks for him). This does a better job than the pricey brand.
