It is amazing chalk. I used it to color my beard for Pride. Some of it rubbed off on my clothing and it came off in the wash.

Does the color rub off on clothes?

It should not rub off on clothes after application, as long as hair is dry. If you manually rub the hair onto the clothing there could be some transfer- but if that happens simply wash the clothes as directed! Thanks for your question.

Would this work on very short hair?

Yes. It's like a marker. So you can use it on any length of hair for however much color you want.
