Improved model - no problems!
Purchased this due to Covid having pushed me to work from home, so now have two PCs setup in my office area. This now governs the output from my work PC and my laptop into a single set of headphones. Lovely 'DIY' aesthetic to the product and the addition of the additional line out to the rear makes a lot of sense for cable management if you're sending the output to speakers rather than a headphone. The mute toggle is handy for those interruptions from marauding children while you attempt to work from home!I can't detect any hum or hiss on my AKG K92s and nothing else seems to do what I want with 3.5 format so a worthy purchase.

It works.... perfect for my purpose.
I needed to switch audio headphone monitoring between two screens. It does that to my satisfaction. It is stand alone, sturdy and unobtrusively small. In and outputs ideally sited with an alternative front or back output socket. I like it a lot. Its convenient, doesn't make any noise (inside or out) and works as described. However, I am not concerned with losses and interference quality as such and cannot make any relative comment. But to me its operation is silent, No "clicks, buzzez or tweets"

Great idea. Works well at medium to higher volumes
I bought this Little Bear so I could fine adjust the volume on my loud active speakers using the analogue knob. As a bonus, I thought I could also use it to switch to headphones, should I need to as there are two switchable outputs. It's a nice bit of kit for the price and has a "no-nonsense" look. There are two 3.5mm input jacks (front and back) which is really useful and allows you flexibility in setting this up with your kit. I should point out that they are two jacks to the same input - not two separate inputs. There are two outputs, though. Which is the point of the device. You can switch between these using one of the red buttons ad mute all sound by pressing the other. The knob in the middle adjust volume. The best part is, because it is a passive device, you can use all the above in reverse. Two selectable inputs going to one output, rather than two selectable outputs from one input. The only issue I had with the device is that at the low end (low volume) the knob was not very accurate and was unbalanced. By this I mean that one of the stereo channels cut out before the other, so one of my speakers would turn completely off before the other. This was a real shame as it kind of defeated the point of why I bought the device (to use my speakers while kids slept). With regret I sent it back and sought a different solution.I would still recommend it as it's good for the price, but only if low-volume accuracy is not a requirement for you. (It may be that it was a fault with my particular one and I could have probably upgraded the knob.)

Worthless piece of garbage
First off, this review is NOT a reflection of the seller, but the manufacturer. This device looks like a well designed piece of kit and quite attractive. Conceptually it is a nice idea. However, on first plugging in the sound volume was severely reduced by the potentiometer added to allow the line in voltage level to be adjusted for the different sound sources. Then after a little bit of adjustment and retrying cables the device stopped functioning altogether. The 3.5mm sockets could from time to time be made to work but even the slightest movement caused the sound to drop completely. I dismantled to see if there were dry solder joints, but was dismayed with the cheapness of the push button switch mechanisms. VERY disappointing and sent back. I will buy another brand with hopefully more success. Just a duff device I suppose.

Does the job and looks great
Set up to select between Alexa input and hi res player input to amplifier. Worked perfectly. Usually want to hide these type of ugly gizmos but this one looks great and looks "hi fi"!

Gets the job done but introduces unwanted noise. Not suitable for hifis/audiophiles
This is a cool little device, it gets the job done and looks great. However, I would not recommend this for any high-grade or audiophile setup. It introduces noise - a static/buzzing sound, which you can hear clearly when you have nothing playing and your speakers on. It's present although less noticeable when you're playing music. This is fine if you're using cheaper equipment like PC speakers (like I am) as the sound quality out of these is low anyway, so it doesn't make too much difference. However, I would not use this for my hifi setup, where this noise would be far more noticeable.

At long last I've found it!!!
It's taken a while but thank you Nobsound - this is the final jigsaw in our home studio that now means I don't have to faff around with cables listening to my record player and/or computer. No hum, no mess, exceptional value. Not the best looking design in the world but unlit mate points for functionality. Thanks again Nobsound - sounds great!
