Great product! Perfect for watering plants while traveling. I used it as a pool filler during the summer. I just set the time so that the water came on for about an hour each night to compensate for evaporation. Very easy to set up!

The wifi product needs serious work. Took me 90 min to update to the latest firmware because it kept failing. For every time it failed i had to reset it by taking the batteries out for 10min. Otherwise it would never respond to turn on and off via the app. Once i updated the firmware i finally was able to control it via the app....however if you press the button in the device to open the valve...guess what...its stops working in the app. You have to remove it from the app, reset it and reinstall it. Rushed product!

I bought this product primarily for the ability to not over water my plants. I thought there would be a smart-delay feature for when it rains, however, this is not the case. You must actively check the weather + activate the delay through the app. Set up was ~easy enough, though pairing the gateway + the device was momentarily confusing. The manual On button on the device works well enough. The connectivity can sometimes lead to ~minute level response time (rather than ~2 seconds compared to most indoor products).

Works good but was difficult to connect. Took some patience but it did work. Once working the app works great. Arrived early

I bought this 10 months ago. From first install it leaks slightly and drips water from the case. Now its leaking worse and wont completely shut off the flow of water when toggled off. Water still flows at low pressure. Nice features are available in the app, and temperature & time based scheduling seemed to work well. But it doesn't report the battery life properly (always says 100%) even when batteries are dead, and the rain detection was not very accurate. Manual button on base/hub doesn't work anymore. I used Energizer lithium AA batteries and they last about 3 months.
