High quality at low price!
My husband and I have been ordering TOZO earbuds for years, and the NC9s are our current go-to. Not because they don’t last — honestly, it’s because we’re constantly misplacing our earbuds. Even so, we always reorder the same ones because the product itself is that good. The sound quality is amazing for the price. Each earbud gets loud and clear enough that we can actually share a pair if we’re watching a movie on a plane or listening to something together while our infant is sleeping. The noise canceling works really well, especially for travel, and they’re comfortable enough to wear for long stretches. For the value, you really can’t beat these. We’ve tried more expensive brands and keep coming back to TOZO because they’re reliable, easy to use, and just work. Highly recommend if you want great sound without spending a fortune.

Amazing quality for the price
I wanted to try ear buds since my wife had bought her 2nd pair of Apple Earbuds but I didn’t want to jump on spending hundreds of dollars on something I wouldn’t use. These did it for me. I bought these and the Moondrop Space Travel 2s. These are marginally better than those in terms of ear fit, much better sound cancelling, and the fact that I can EQ with the app give these an edge on the sound. The Moondrops are what Moondrop is really good at - real, sound, but the custom EQ on these allow me to make my music sound how I want it to sound. In terms of these, I was wanting something for the gym that wouldn’t fall out, would stay charged without an issue, and stay connected without an issue. These win in all of those categories and I use them 5 days a week in the gym but also at home for dishes or other household chores. The noise cancelling is so good you will not be able to hear someone else talking to you - be aware of that, it has started a few fights in my household already. I did have a connectivity issue a few days ago (2 months in) but found out if I restarted my phone the issue went away and has not returned. I’m chalking it up to an issue with my phone. I had another issue where they became quieter than before, found out I just had to clean the speaker grill by slightly dipping it in hydrogen peroxide, about 1mm submerged, and wiping away the buildup on the them and they’re as good as new! If there is a problem with these, I would gladly buy another pair in a heart beat. For anyone looking for a cheaper but quality earbud I would definitely recommend these, and will probably be purchasing them as gifts this holiday season.

Great sound and battery life for the price
I was extremely surprised by the sound quality and battery life of these earbuds, especially at this price point. The audio is clear with solid bass, and they stay comfortable even during longer listening sessions. Battery life has been great so far and easily lasts through daily use without constantly needing to recharge. I also like that they come with three different ear tip sizes. That made it easy to get a good seal, which definitely helps with both comfort and sound quality. My only real downside is that I wish they had some kind of tracking feature in case one gets lost. Maybe they do and I just haven’t figured it out yet, but it would be a nice addition. Overall, these are a very nice set of earbuds and an excellent value for the money. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for good performance without spending a lot

My New Favorite Earbuds
I actually love these, which was somewhat unexpected given the price tag. I'm not an audiophile, but I can somewhat tell the difference between poor sounding earbuds and decent ones. Trust me, I've purchase a few pairs of the not-so-good earbuds and use them long enough until I can find a better pair. The sound on these is not going to knock your socks off, but for the price, and with the EQ tools in the app, they've got decent sound quality. The fit is actually better than most earbuds that I purchase. My left ear must have a weird shape because a lot of earbuds fall out of that ear pretty easy, especially when I get sweaty or when I'm chewing food. I haven't tried intense exercise with these yet, but they did pass the food-chewing test. In other words, I don't feel the left earbud slowly creeping out of my ear canal while I'm eating, which is what usually happens with other earbuds. The earbud sync up to my iPhone quickly, and the tap controls on the earbuds are very responsive. I like that you can tap the left earbud to activate/deactivate noise canceling. It comes in handy when someone is trying to talk to me through the noise canceling; however, the single tap does switch you to Tozo's "Transparency Mode" instead of "Normal Mode", which mean the earbuds will amplify any exterior sounds which can be grating in loud environments. Just a caution if you have super sensitive hearing already. I can't speak much about how they work for phone calls. In a quiet environment, the person on the other end of the line has said they can hear me just fine. I'd be interested to see how they function in a noisy environment. My basic AirPods are still my go-to for phone conversations, just because I've never had the person on the other end of the line say they're having a problem hearing me, that is if the AirPod will stay in my left ear, which it won't whenever I'm walking around. The noise canceling is probably my favorite feature. I used the earbuds on a plane, and I felt they did an acceptable job of filtering out the plane noise and allowing me to enjoy my music and movies. They worked so well on a 14-hour car ride that sometimes the driver was trying to talk to me, and I had no idea he was speaking unless I was looking directly at him. The battery also lasted the entire car ride, though I confess I only had them on for about a quarter of the trip, and I put them back in the case a few times to recharge them, even though they weren't even halfway close to dying on me. When we arrived out our location, the battery life in the case wasn't even close to being expired. Finally, I can't speak to the longevity, since I've only owned them for a few weeks. I hope they last me at least a few years, at which point, I'll probably buy another pair, if the price is the same. If I get a couple years out of them, then they're definitely worth it. So far, they are my favorite pair of earbuds, out of the four I own

Great earbuds at an amazing price
My go-to earbuds have been the Powerbeats 3 for many years. I love the fullness of the sound, although the high-mids can lack some clarity. Last year I decided to get full wireless earbuds and thought I would give one of the cheaper alternatives a try. I got the Tozo T6, and ended up liking them quite a bit. Recently I got the Tozo NC9 to see if there is any improvement, and besides, they are so inexpensive! After tweaking these a fair amount, I finally got a sound I really like that is comparable to the Powerbeats 3. Soundwise, these are not much different from the T6, though I think the T6 have a little more low end out-of-the-box, but this can be adjusted with EQ. The NC9s fit in the ear more comfortably and the ear tips do not protrude as far down into the ear canal. The NC9s practically disappear into the ear and don't have the telltale tail hanging out like Apple AirPods. The NC9s do have noise cancelling, but that is not a feature that I care that much about, so I won't comment on it. I normally wear these on my morning walk or jog. I listen to music on my Pixel 6 Pro and use the PowerAmp app, which has an equalizer. For the Powerbeats 3, I keep the low end fairly flat and boost the upper mids. With the NC9, I use a modified version of the Rock EQ setting in the Tozo app, which is bass heavy, and then also boost the bass quite a bit in PowerAmp as well as a slight high end boost and mid cut. They do not sound quite as full in the low end as the Powerbeats 3, though close, but are crisper in the mids and highs. The low end is perhaps a little punchier. It is crucial to use the correct size ear tips, and also to put the ANC on the Noise Cancellation setting to get the fullest sound. Play around with these settings to see what you like. For me the additional EQ in the PowerAmp app is also essential in addition to the Tozo app EQ. I am very pleased with the overall design and sound of these earbuds. I rarely have a connection problem, and the charging case is wonderful. I am blown away considering the price point. I do recommend using EQ to dial in the sound and am glad that Tozo provides an app for this. I plan on using the NC9 as my goto earbuds considering sound, comfort, and convenience. Update: On a long walk I noticed that the Noise Cancellation mode can produce some subtle artifacts in the sound that bothered me for critical listening. I am now playing around with the custom mode for ANC to see if I can get the fuller sound with no noticeable artifacts. Update 2: I have settled on the Custom Pattern for ANC and am quite happy with the sound I am getting. I really enjoy these earbuds. I will attach some pictures of my settings. For reference, I bought a pair of Beats Studio Buds Plus earbuds, thinking they would improve on the sound of the Powerbeats3 I have and be stiff competition for the Tozo NC9. I was quite surprised, though, that I could not get them to sound full in the low end. The Beats don't come with an EQ, but I did use the EQ in the PowerAmp app. I could not get a full sound. Perhaps the Beats sound much better with iPhones, and not so much with Android/Pixel phones. Anyway, I was surprised, disappointed, and returned them. On the other hand, it makes me even more satisfied with the Tozo NC9 -- better features and better sound at a much lower price!

Decent, but quality Varies depending on use
This is the 2nd time i buy these....because well i had them in the case...and the case wasn't a smooth seal fit like it shows in the pictures (trust me i made sure i had it push in fully...false advertisement? faulty case?...any ways that's a different story on to the product review. Our Company was looking to upgrade from The old Foam ear plugs and ear muff like designs (walkers werent a option due to other ppe) mainly for our Production and Engineering team we looked at a few options and came to a few must haves like : * Noise Canceling but a option for some sort of "alert" or Ambient sound option , in this case the Products Transparency Mode* *water / Sweat resistance IP6+* *At least 4 hours on a single charge - since staff can sneak in a charge during their breaks (15 + 30 + 15 + plus any down time they might have out of the production area and when they are in the office* *Due to loud noise /Environment we figure it should be Bluetooth and paired to their phones to make communicating even better when the engineers were running diagnostics - Check basically don't need to shell out for walkies... and just add a incentive *Protective Case for the buds Charging Case preferably sold by the buds manufacturer to avoid product flaws with the case [not fitting or incompatible, cheap quality etc] * - check....but mines was Very...small it fit the charging case but not fully like shown in the Amazon pictures (basically like fitting into pants and your gut hanging out, case also didn't have a sort of latch to secure the charging case from opening unintentionally *Protective case with a latch to keep the charging case secure and avoid it from falling out and get damaged or lost* - Failed - looked good on site but upon arrival it had no sort of "Latch" to secure it shut , and the protective Case did not fully secure over the entire Charging case* *Protection over the charging port or wireless Alternative* - PASS/Fail Product failed because even with the protective Case it did not cover the Charging Port at the rear of the Buds Charging Case, our concern was charging issues down the line as the port would get filled with dust and fine powders (something we have noticed with the company phones making their handheld use restricted more to speakerphones) Product Passed and went on for Testing thanks to it Wireless charging option for the case *Easy cleaning the goal to easily clean the buds and inside the case to keep it free of dusts and Powders* Product did decently I'd say 3.5 out of 5 due to the mentioned "Exposed" Charging Port long as the case still stays closed we noticed no Dust or powder made it's way fully inside just on the outer edges of the case. *Option to display Battery life on the device or case - not required but a nice option* Fail /Nay this device has no option that displays the battery level of the buds on your phone or on the case but i have seen they have another model that does (shame there is no way to compare the differences between the products) Now the personal Review- i submitted my feed back , and figured i do the same here Earbuds size are nice and compact, you notice them but they aren't a Burden. Both Buds also have the Bluetooth antenna...or what not so if you want to use one bud you aren't restricted to using a specific side (in my experience with older brands only one bud would have it forcing you to use that side , - sony and ankers case it was the right Bud, you couldn't use the left Bud solo as it automatically tried looking for the right bud and was unable to connect to your phone Earbud texture and quality- have tried different earbuds for personal use (Anker , Sony , Bose , Beats, airpods, Samsung etc) each brand tends to have their gimmick / Design signature, Ear buds are of a smooth plastic, and i thought it was great until the Right Earbud cut my the inner bit of my ear, i took it off and confirmed , a bit of the plastic frame where the ends meet was kinda sharp had to...well sand it down a bit until it felt smooth (i think it probably should of been removed during manufacturing since it was a bit protruding) Water /sweat Resistance- no complaints it looks like it worked perfectly fine Sound Quality is pretty nice although i had calls seem to be choppy where it looks the it cut off the call this could be user/ Device error on my end or the callers. Transparency Mode - it works pretty great good for drowning out loud noise but leave out the important noise like... back up chimes, Horns and machinery NC - Noise Canceling quality is pretty good Earbud Charging/Storage protective case - Bought the Protective case that wraps around the earbuds charging/storage case and immediately saw it didn't fit , i ensured it had no slack so the case was smaller and didn't fully wrap around the case like the photos advertise on the items page, it also leaves the charging port exposed to pick up lint and other stuff from your pocket and surrounds, since i work in a environment where the work area is dusty...i kept that in mind. Well yesterday i had the Right earbud in and the left bud in the case in the protective case clipped onto my belt loop...and it fell out Then the Remaining ear bud broke in the area where it holds the silicone bud when i was trying to swap it out for a bigger size Have now learned my lesson...to keep it in my pocket could be it was defective... sadly had to buy a 2nd since it's cheap priced for the quality....literally about $20 to $40 bucks more than the similar or almost similar like earbuds you find at retail stores like Marshalls, Tj max etc Hopefully the review is able to help some people out and i be sure to post a update with the 2nd Pair (purchased the exact same with the case again,

Really good value with active noise cancellation
I owned a previous version of the NC9's from 2022 that were a bit different than these, and as often happens with these little earbuds in a small charging case, I recently lost them somewhere, probably in my last hotel room. Beware of spending too much on earbuds - you absolutely will go through multiple sets of them. I was really happy with those earbuds for the price I paid at the time, which was a little over $10. So I figured rather than trying to wade through all the nonsensical marketing-speak on Amazon or the ridiculously overpriced offerings from Apple and other major brands, I'd just get the latest version of the same thing I had. And so far, these are pretty great for the price and a definite upgrade over the 2022 version. Now, I will say that while I'm not an audiophile, I could probably call myself an "audio enthusiast" and I don't think any earbuds from anybody sound all that great either on their own or when compared with decent full size headphones. That's one reason why I refuse to pay anything close to the $200 that's the standard price for major brand earbuds. These are tiny drivers using a low-powered DAC chip and DSP, getting a lossily compressed audio signal over a low-bandwidth wireless codec. It's just the nature of the beast. No earbuds anywhere are worth more than about 50 bucks, and that's with the profit baked in. Anything above that is just a name brand tax. (And these days, maybe a tariff.) But these sound perfectly fine for what they are and basically as good as any other wireless earbuds I've ever used. I did notice some sibilance with the default EQ - like most (all?) modern wireless earbuds, these accentuate bass and treble. But a quick adjustment to the high frequencies in the phone app (something that my older NC9's didn't support) seems to have cured that. There is of course still a bit of extra bass, but I'll leave that alone for now as I don't mind it. I can always adjust it later if I feel differently down the road. One minor quibble with the sound is that possibly because of that extra bass and treble, these don't get very loud. At maximum volume, they're about where I normally feel comfortable in regular listening, but they start to break up a bit before that. My guess is that Tozo has reduced the maximum output to control distortion, which isn't unique to them, but again, don't expect a high-end over the ear headphone experience here for 30 bucks. You just can't listen very loud with a lot of bass through tiny drivers like these without distortion. I don't think most people wearing earbuds listen as loud as I normally like to anyway. If this so far sounds like faint praise in a 5 star review, again, look at the price. You are getting a good value in sound quality, especially when you compare these to much more expensive earbuds that don't sound any better. If Apple were selling these and charging Airpod Pro prices, you'd be looking at a 2 star review. But these are priced fairly given their performance and the limitations of the category. Tozo also sells earbuds without the active noise cancellation but I bought these specifically for that, because it worked well on my previous NC9's and it seems to work at least as well and probably better on these. Keep in mind that noise cancellation in general was specifically developed to counter engine noise on airplanes. And that's still what the technology is best at. The way it works is by pushing out a specific frequency to act counter to the frequency of whatever continuous noise is present. It's not going to be very effective at silencing things like conversations or crying babies that are made up of variable, higher frequency sounds (because countering those would also affect the music you're listening to, not to mention using a lot more processing power, which also uses a lot more battery). That, again, is the nature of the beast. It applies to every set of earbuds that have ANC. But in terms of continuous background noise, such as from a jet engine or a loud fan, these work as well as anything else I've used. And I've used a lot of headphones and earbuds (as well as real aviation headsets) with active noise cancellation. The ANC also does not really alter the sound of the music you're listening to, which my older NC9's kinda did with the ANC on, and it's a pretty common issue with older devices that use ANC. Seems like it's more refined now and I don't really notice much difference, if any, in sound quality with ANC on or off. There was a time only a few years ago when you'd need to spend a few hundred bucks to get ANC at all, and that would have been in a set of wired full size headphones. Now we're talking about how well it works in a $30 set of wireless earbuds. It's kind of amazing if you think about it. I think real ANC alone is basically worth the price of admission here. There are a lot of earbuds in this price range that advertise "ENC" but that is not the same thing - that's for reducing noise on your voice when talking on phone calls. ANC is for listening to music. It's rare at this price, even now. For it to work this well is a huge bonus. Battery life is a definite step up from my older NC9's, although to be fair those were probably also just wearing out by the time I lost them. I intentionally tried to run these down while writing this review and after about 5 hours of constant listening, they were still going strong and when I put them in the charging case, it read 83%. Of course that's the total charge including the case battery, not the buds themselves. I have no idea how accurate that is but if it is correct, then that's probably more battery life than I would ever really need. (You can never have too much, but I can't think of a situation when I'd run out of battery life before being able to recharge.) I read another review where someone said the case on these did not close securely; that is not true. I'd think he must have been using a different version (the reviews here seem to cover all previous versions as well), but I had older ones and that case closed securely too. It's magnetic. The earbuds kind of pull themselves into their little cubbies if you've oriented them the right way, and then the case cover snaps closed with its own magnet. If the case is not closing properly, you're not putting the buds in the right way. They only go one way. You'll get it after a couple tries. Just take note of how they're oriented when you first open the case. Overall I can pretty confidently recommend these. Given that modern phones and many other devices no longer even have headphone jacks, you really need a set of wireless earbuds. Just get these; they're as good as more expensive earbuds and the price is fair. You can't say that about most name brand earbuds.

Great for the time they lived.
I accidentally ran my TOZO NC9 earbuds through a full cycle in an industrial washer *and* dryer. I assumed they were toast. But to my absolute shock, they still work perfectly — no audio issues, no charging problems, nothing. I checked them out thoroughly, and everything’s solid. The LED display showed “188” afterward, which I suspect was a heat-related glitch, but it cleared up. Honestly, I’ve never seen durability like this in a pair of wireless earbuds. Sound quality is still great, ANC works, and the case charges fine. If you’re looking for budget earbuds that can survive the apocalypse (or at least a laundromat mishap), these are it. **Update** battery on the charging case was destroyed and discharges quickly after a few days. Still good headphones but I've moved on to the P40i and am much happier all around with those. Still recommend these
