Panasonic EH-HS99 Nanoe Ceramic Hair Straightener for Improved Shine with Temperature Control (Black/Rose Gold)

This is a good product and the second in the house for my younger daughter. My older daughter started using it first and is pleased with the results on the hair and stops the two of them fighting over who gets to use it first. There is some cracking noises when you use it but nothing to worry about as this is normal per the girls and related to how the straightener works. Well designed with good length to cover the appropriate amount of hair and hand grip. Also has a lock mechanism to close the tongs after use. Nice rose/copper gold colour too.

Recommended by a friend, I love these straighteners. Best I've ever owned! Lightweight, with controllable temperatures and easy to use, they straighten hair in one steady stroke, for me not even on the highest heat setting, leaving it soft, smooth and shiny. Yes, they do make a tiny bit noise, but as it says in the instruction leaflet this is part of the nano technology that uses moisture in the air, and it really isn't annoying at all. An added bonus is the very long cable so you don't need a socket to plg into immediately next to a mirror. Highly recommend straighteners!

Having used the wide GHD straighteners for 15 years plus, I wanted straighteners with a temperature control as my hair has become damaged. Having researched several makes, I purchased these and so far I'm very pleased with the result they give. However, although the straighteners are well made, compared to my GHDs they are very light. So much so that I have burnt myself on two occasions. The long cord wrapped around the handle of my dressing table drawer and the straighteners were pulled out of my grip, burning my thumb badly. My GHDs were wider and gave a better grip. I will get used to the new straighteners and it is my problem and nothing to do with them but please be aware when first using them. I am now going to purchase a heat glove, which I've never had to use before.

First time I’ve ever used a straightener and I love it!!! So easy, heats up really quickly, light weight so perfect for travelling. Would recommend.

only used these a few times and experienced the same buzzing noise, burning smell as other users, plus they drag your hair- really really bad quality and heavy and cumbersome too! they would definitely damage your hair over time, luckily Amazon customer service were amazing as usual and refunded me so I'll search for a replacement pair.

Easy to use and it has a really long lead which is fab. It heats up very quickly. It did make a sizzly kind of noise as the other reviewers have said but it explains why in the instructions. Smooths my frizzy hair with one swoosh and I love the temperature settings. Highly recommend
