Great price, easy to setup and prints reliably
Was looking a cheap replacement printer for my Aunt, so had to be simple to use and print reliably. It was easy to setup and manage to get it to connect to her WiFi from Windows 11. Prints reliably and wakes up when something is sent to the printer. Printing is quick for labels, black and white prints and it really is a bargain at £24.

Budget Printer Ideal for One Careful User
I purchased this printer to work on my father's probate and associated admin and so far I am very pleased. I ordered the printer in desperation after my hugely expensive HP refused to adapt to my father's house. The Canon arrived next day for the price of a couple of cartridges and I was set up within minutes. On the positive side I like its size, appearance and the fact that it's wifi enabled and prints from an app on my phone. Much easier than going onto a dedicated website on the laptop. It arrived with a pair of cartridges and I signed up for the 'replace as you use' system - my first pack of replacement cartridges arrived within 48 hours. The print quality is perfectly acceptable for documents and hobby items such as pages from a novel. The speed is fine for amateur use - it rumbles along quite amiably whilst I complete other tasks. On the negative side the quality of the actual hardware is very delicate, but acceptable for a budget item. The quality of the instructions is truly abysmal, but the instruction videos supplied by other customers like me on the Amazon website are excellent. On balance, this printer is ideal for 'one careful user' so it's ideal for me. I will come back later and comment on long-term life span.

European plug arrived but amazon fixed
A solid, easy-to-use printer that delivers great color prints and reliable wireless connectivity. Warning: Mine arrived with a European plug, but Amazon’s customer service was great and issued a partial refund so I could buy a UK replacement. Once powered up, the setup was seamless and the print quality is excellent for the price. Great bit of kit, just have a UK power lead ready!

Very good printer and scanner
The detail on printed scans on this is unreal. I scanned a drawing and it was impossible to tell which one was which. Amazing price for a printer that does so many things, you can print from iPhone or wifi. It looks compact, comes with ink, and is working fine (this is the first day though, so need to review again in a year). It almost seems so good that I think they must have made a loss on the printer in order to be able to sell you the cartridges... as so many companies do. But I'm not complaining because this is a top notch printer.

Cheap printer, feels that way too.
Not a good start, the printer just “stopped” halfway through the second ever document print job. Green light just flashed and none of the buttons would respond - not even the power button. Had to pull the plug out and try again. It has been fine since but it was worrying. At high print quality setting it takes a while to print even a grayscale document only with text on it. The lowest quality setting is just too poor to be useable in a document. Fitting the cartridges is a pain, fiddly and not much room to get them in. When I got it working ok - it ran alright. You need good quality paper to make the most out of this printer. Don’t skimp if you only use it occasionally. The WiFi App on smartphone works ok but seems complicated at first - but once worked out it’s fine. Latency is poor - it seems to buffer each time a screen changed. The scan queuing works well but it didn’t save the scans how I wanted them. It saved a sheet and a half of some of the single PDF scans for some reason. There seems to be a trend among manufacturers of everything these days to use ever thinner plastic panels and lighter materials - to maximise profit - which makes the panels on the printer feel flimsy and fragile. It’s all very thin but it’s a cheap printer - as long as it does the job I need I’ll be happy.

Great family printer - and SO easy to set up and use
delivered next day, well packaged, easy to set up (both physical printer and software / wireless set up). Easy to use straight from box. Couldn't fault it for the price.

Nice quality prints just temperamental wifi
Excellent quality prints. But it is very temperamental staying connected through WiFi on my phone and I'm constantly resetting the Canon app to reconnect. Besides that little bit it's actually a really good printer. Also the ink cartridges supplied are only half full so make sure you buy some with the printer. It's pretty quiet running. There are a lot of flimsy plastic bits that flap and drop out so if your heavy handed like me, just go a little slower setting it up. It feels like it could break easy but once set up then just leave it alone I guess

Decent printer for the money.
Just bought this for cheaper than new Epson ink cartridges would cost! It’s actually a much better printer and doesn’t force you to print a million test pages first before it will let you print anything at all. It was very easy to set up on WIFI and it has kept connected so far. It is quite lightweight so not sure of longevity - you have to put the power cable in the back of what feels like an add-on power pack that wiggles about a bit. Ink is a bit tricky to insert as you do it from inside so best doing this at eye level if you can. All in all though - a decent cheap and cheerful printer.
