If you don't know--this car is fantastic at half the price of other good cars. Easy free mods such as moving the spare tire to the hood, nipping the plastic pegs that constrain the steering servo, removing the tow hitch, and wrapping the front wheels in 25 grams of wire make this car a beast. It is VERY quiet, powerful (370 motor) and controllable for this price range. Add some stick(iER) tires and some oil filled shocks? Yup! UPDATE: I broke my controller and contacted the seller so that I could purchase a new one. He sent me a new one for FREE. I appreciate this level of customer care. UPDATE 2: I have now compared this directly to my FMS FCX18 L80 (Black edition with upgrades). This amazing little cat keeps up and in some ways surpasses the L80. For one--this is the quietest RC I own. It is very nice at LESS THAN HALF the price.

Excellent crawler. I already got some upgrades to it. But is excellent out of yhe box.

Ran for 15 minutes, then lost reverse and most of the power and then it's just started short-circuiting and then wouldn't move at all battery stopped charging controller. Wouldn't work weird grinding noises coming from the transmission and differentials. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

It is a trx4m clone! That being said, it has a large aftermarket support! Out of the box, the turning radius sucks, the steering servo interferes with the body lock on the frame, the springs are junk, the tires are junk, the esc and controller are barely okay. THAT BEING SAID- it has a powerful motor and the ability to crawl! If you’re into trimming and upgrading, this is actually a sick little rig! I trimmed everything interfering, replaced all that is listed above, and it’s a cheap build ready to go! The battery it comes with doesn’t last long, but replacements are not expensive. It turns better than all of my micro rcs now! And it comes with a better service than the traxxas. I can’t be mad at it, but out of the box it barely gets 3 stars. It’s as China as it gets!

Is great for the price. Great for small obstacles and indoor use.

First off, let me start off by saying this thing is amazing. I would’ve never guessed that for this price range. This vehicle was gonna be as capable as it is. I’m completely amazed and I will definitely be buying another one for my son for his birthday coming up Dad is definitely gonna end up keeping this one. I found a WJ body on ETsy That I will be replacing and doing another review on but as far as this thing goes, it is as compatible as you can get with the TRXM4 by tracks and a few upgrades. This thing can be a very, very well capable crawler. I did some free mods that include cutting the fenders, removing the spare tire and the tow hitch and as well as trimming the bumpers and this thing gets a lot more clearance. I also went ahead and remove the foam from the tires to add grip but bigger tires and blocks with brass weights and some Extended shocks, and this thing will be amazing.

right out of the box, it outperforms my Traxxas TRX4M's. high quality body, and the chassis assembly is a total clone of the TRX4M. the Traxxas bronco body actually chips on to the chassis of this vehicle. amazing crawler for the price. i wish there were more models to choose from, i'd buy them all..
