I am writing this review while laying in bed, on my side, with my head on this wonderful pillow.I am a side sleeper. I got a new lobe piercing the other day and I knew I needed this pillow before getting it so I would be able to sleep at night. I have tried the travel pillow method; didn’t work. I have tried the head-on-arm-all-night; that was bad. This pillow is the sole reason I have been able to sleep COMFORTABLY as if this piercing wasn’t even there. If you’ve ever slept on a new piercing, you know how much it hurts. This pillow is worth every penny I paid.Now, in reference to he comments about the size of the hole, my ear fits perfectly. I think I have ears comparable to Dobby the elf, but that was no issue with this pillow. If the hole was any bigger I think too much pressure would be distributed to my neck, cheek, and then the hole would collapse when you laid on it.I will say however, one downside of this pillow is that when you lay your ear in the hole and rest your head’s weight on it, the pillow squishes. This is good because you can sleep on an actual pillow and not a brick BUT this also means the fabric inside ruffles. And then those folds in the fabric sometimes touch my new piercing. Kinda ouch but not that bad everything considered.The pillow is also cool to touch. The removable piece is so easy to also put back in. The pillow size is good for travel. I don’t sense a weird smell. The material inside is memory-foam-esque. It’s also cool to the touch so you don’t feel all sweaty and itchy.

I’ve tried maybe 4 or 5 different pillows for sleeping on my side with a fresh piercing and had very nearly resigned myself to just using an uncomfortable travel pillow when I found this one. It’s perfect! The hole is large enough for my ear, it’s supportive without being too hard, and the pillow case comes off easily for washability. It does take a little getting use to but I am finally managing to get a good nights sleep. AT LAST!!!

I bought this after getting 3 cartilage piercings and was developing bumps on them from sleeping on my side. It’s very comfy and protects my piercings while i sleep on my side! for the price I think it is a pretty good pillow and decent size. I would definitely recommend one to any of my friends who have new piercings and have the same sleeping problems as me!

The pillow is comfortable, the hole is definitely big enough to side sleep with piercings and not have the touch the bottom or sides. I like the memory foam too as I have tried other pillows like this that were too hard and very uncomfortable. My one major issue with this pillow is that the case is made with a material that snags very easily on jewelry. I bought this pillow hoping it would allow me to side sleep without harming my healing piercings but when they get caught inside the fabric of the case I feel like the pillow is doing much more harm than good. I ended up having to put a normal case on it and just pushing the fabric of the normal pillow case into the rectangular cutout but this pillow would work so much better if the case it comes in was made of a different fabric. Overall, I like the pillow but I would say be cautious with your jewelry if you are using it while trying to heal new/sensitive piercings as it can be very painful if they snag on the fabric.

Just getting a new ear piercing, I needed something that would allow me to sleep decent (I sleep on my sides and rotate like a rotisserie chicken all night long) and this one is it! It’s a little small, more like a travel pillow than an actual pillow, but the ear hole is plenty big and the memory foam is a nice, slow rebound foam, super soft. The cover definitely feel cool to the touch as well. The only negative I have would be that it’s a little thick to sleep with it on top of another pillow, but because of its size, it’s a little awkward using ONLY this pillow. However, the quality of the foam and it being really soft makes up for it.

I have a few of these 'piercing' pillows due to a rare disorder that causes my ears to flare red and painful if they are in direct contact with something like a pillow at night. It developed within the past year and I've been a side-sleeper my whole life so, yeah, that's a problem! Solution: a pillow with an ear hole! It's often the simplest, most direct solution that works the best and, for me, this is it. I have a couple pillows with smaller holes and I have a much bigger pillow with two holes but this one right here is the one I reach for every night when trying to get comfy. I'd love it if this exact pillow was just a tiny bit bigger but that is seriously my only complaint. The pillow itself is very squishy memory foam. My first few nights I struggled to get used to the new pillow height (but that will happen with any pillow change) and I have finally figured out how to mush down my old feather pillow and put this one partly on it and partly off so it's all the right height for my shoulder and neck. It takes a little experimentation to find the exact right comfort zone. The cover is soft and cooling and even the little cube you pull out is squishy soft with its own little zipper cover. The real game-changer here is the hole itself. It's bigger than most of my other pillows which is soooo important. The pillow squishes so you really need that hole to be big enough to keep your ear pain-free while still feeling like your head, neck and face are supported by the rest of the pillow. So far, this one is the winner - the pillow is big enough to get comfortable but also with a center hole big enough to keep my ear unbothered so I can actually fall asleep. Sigh of relief!!

The pillow overall is smaller than I expected, about 2/3 the size of a regular standard pillow. Because it was small I was a little skeptical but it works really well! I actually use this on top of my old pillow for extra head support and my ear fits perfectly in the opening. After a week of trying it out I’m very happy with the results. No more waking up in excruciating pain from accidentally sleeping on a healing piercing!

I have lots of ear piercings, some are healing. This pillow is perfect for allowing my to sleep on my side and not irritate my healing piercings. It is small but worms great. I was using a travel pillow before and did not enjoy that.

Got this for my ear piercing that did not like the fact it was being slept on. After using this for a couple weeks the piercing bump is almost gone. The memory foam is amazing and it's a great pillow. If I had one complaint I just wish it was normal pillow size.
