It is a leave-in conditioner that you pump out into your hand. I have short hair and do abt ten pumps. A bottle lasts a long time. I rub it around on my palms and fingers and rub it into my hair. It isn’t a spray, too thick to spray. It is not greasy and it helps my hair. I am bleached to platinum and my hair needs this product. Many times I don’t use any other styling product such as mousse. Biosilk also makes s regular conditioner and shampoo. I use both of those as well but not every day- I like to rotate my products.
