Get What You Pay For ...
Bulova still does well, and competes with Seixx in the watch market. Yes I'm that "old school" guy that still enjoys wearing, and using a quality timepiece that doesn't break the bank. This watch is a "Mariner" / Chrono style watch that is Stainless, wears well (weighty), easy to read, and use. Not a cheap timepiece, but I think the price point and value is fair. As of this writing ... would I purchase this timepiece again ? Absolutely ... and would recommend to others. If You want a cheapy go purchase a Fossxx, or one if several others.. Time will tell (pardon the pun) if it will stand-up like others in My collection. I want to wear My watches, not let them set in a box and look at them or say I have this. Purchase and enjoy !

Every bit of it is useful, a straight up tool.
A lifetime digital watch user, I like when a watch can fill many roles. The convenience has spoiled me. Casio did a good job in the 20 dollar range but the retro chrome plated plastic cases would not hold up for more than 5 years with my heavy use. So after buying the fifth one of those I was ready for something with more build quality. Ever since the Big Precisionist Icon came out, I really liked that amount of features but it was missing the rotating bezel. It didn't occur to me to check out the Marine Stars but as soon as I saw the type C, I knew that was the one I was looking for. I get the stopwatch, metal band, rotating bezel for less strict timing, date window, and really nice bright lume that is very readable from dusk till dawn. It would be neat if the bezel had some lume as well but I do not dive and have no plans to do so, so it would be lost on me anyway. So it has exactly what I was looking for in my daily toolwatch. For the money I have not found anything comprable. Luckily I have enough wrist to pull it off. Only issue, the hands should be longer and touch the indicies! Dont just point. Mine is accurate to under 1 second a month.

Bold and Handsome Watch
I've only had the watch for a few days, but I have very positive first impressions. It is probably not lost on watch fans that the styling is very similar to an Omega Speedmaster, but the Bulova watch price is a fraction of the Omega. That was part of the appeal for another discretionary watch purchase. The watch is a bold and handsome and I am optimistic I'll enjoy it for years to come. A few notes. First, it is a large watch, and wears to the full 45mm case and 22mm lugs. I have some other 44mm and 45mm watches that don't wear as large as this watch. Second, while it is a dive/tool watch by definition, I will use it more as casual everyday watch vs. a true tool watch. I have other watches I would choose for diving over this one. This is not a knock on this watch - many dive watches rarely see water.
