We had six wine glass markers that we loved and used whenever friends came over because they are more convenient than those pesky charms. But sadly they dried out one by one, despite our capping them tightly after use and storing them "tips down".I ordered these as a replacement and hope they last longer than the last ones did (just over a year). Even if they don't, they are a good price for how many you get.The nice part is they wash right off when you wash your glasswear in warm, soapy water. That said, they do not write on "sweaty" glass so be sure to use them when the glass is dry. All our guests love to get creative when labeling their glasses and that makes it easy to keep track of whose is whose.

I don't entertain large groups of people, but I do have friends over occasionally for a glass of wine. I loved the idea that I could write their name or a sentiment on the glass before my friends arrived. Then I thought that they might enjoy decorating their own glass for the night. Then I went around my house and started drawing on a variety of materials to see if the marker would come off easily. The colored markers performed as I expected: slick surfaces were easily removed while porous material became permanent. These markers, with the exception of the black, were vibrant and shiny on black paper. There are many uses for these "wine glass markers".

The colors of these Wine Glass Markers are beautiful. I honestly have not used them on wine glasses as yet but I do have a party planned that I am going to use them. I did try them on a regular glass and they worked perfectly and the paint was very easy to wash off. However, they are wonderful for writing, making lines and using for dots, on rocks. I love painting rocks and I am always looking for a paint pen that makes easy lines and easy dots and these do both … plus with all the colors you have a great selection to choose from. If you do use them for rock painting you have to make sure you spray a finishing waterproof coat in case they do get wet.

These pens provide a wide assortment of metallic colors that can easily write on glass and mirror. I’ve used Sharpies in the past for the same thing but it’s hard to find metallic colors beyond silver and gold. Despite all the photos on the page showing names written on wine glasses, the manufacturer cautions you to write names on the base of the glass so the condensation doesn’t cause the color to drip off. It’s easy to clean the color off glass with just a bit of water but use a napkin or your fingers will become temporarily stained.

The pic I took and posted is of the markers on a small piece of plastic coated mirror. Easy to use and somewhat bright I find myself thinking they aren’t the best, most metalic markers I’ve ever seen,but then I can’t say I’ve ever had markers described especially for glass. When you consider the fact that typically writing on glass is a novelty and might happen only a couple times ever in most people’s lives, well then you start to see what a cool idea this is. You can literally do anything from names during a celebration to chores not done if you want a refill, better get busy, lol, I hope my girl doesn’t see this review. Anyway, in my opinion they are a nice change to doing things like everyone else, take a chance, live a little

I love these markers! I have been using Sharpies on glass cups so we can remember whose cup is whose and these are so much better! The colors are really bright and stay on when you need them to. When washing dishes in the sink, the markers come off so easy, unlike regular Sharpies.

These translucent colored glitter markers are excellent for holiday window decoration that will wash right off with just soap and water, and of course for parties to mark everyone's glasses. The ad is right, wine charms are annoying, and these markers give you the opportunity to be creative by adding cute little logos for each person, whatever comes to mind. $5 for ten markers - wow. They also make lovely Easter egg designs.
