I have been running this humidifier for over 1 year. It sits nicely in the corner of our family room all winter long. It keeps the whole lower floor of my 1500 sqft home well humidified. It's quiet, attactive and reliable. The controls are easy to work with and cleaning is pretty straight forward. It's hard to find a humidifier with enough tank capacity for a house, so this is a great solution. I recently had an issue where it stopped working. Reading over Lacidoll's support, I was able to identify that the pump had stopped working. I was disappointed, but figured I would give their support a try. Most amazon products don't have great support, so my expectations were low. I couldn't have been more wrong. Ryan from Lacidoll got right back to me, confirmed the issue and sent me a new pump within 24 hours. I was amazed. I've had much more expensive appliances with issues where support could care less and here is Lacidoll killing it with top tier service. Made me a customer for life. Thanks Lacidoll. This humidifier is awesome, with other humidifiers we've had to run them 24/7 to keep the humidity bumped up for my plants, but with this unit we can actually run it intermittently because even on the lowest setting it's keeping our house at 70%+. We have a small home, but I'd expect this would keep a larger house comfortable. If you're not trying to turn your home into a terrarium like I am, this humidifier wouldn't have to run continuously to keep things at a typical ideal humidity. It seems pretty efficient, since I can fill it once every 3 days or so from one of our 3 gallon jugs (it holds more if I wanted to refill even less). I've gone through a few smaller humidifiers and I was really irritated by how often they had to be refilled and how little extra humidity they actually added. It's definitely pricier to go with a bigger unit, but if you need higher humidity in anything larger than a 10*10 room something like this is needed. The convenience and efficiency makes it worth the price. Especially if you're a houseplant nerd. It's super easy to use, I had it running within 5 minutes of unboxing it. The symbols weren't totally intuitive, but with the instructions it's straightforward. It's also pretty much silent. And a bonus that I didn't notice when I ordered it - it has wheels! Makes it so easy to relocate it if needed. And the wheels are kind of hidden, so the unit still looks sleek and modern.

Purchased this humidifier about 3 weeks ago to help combat low humidity and static shocks touching everything. This is a nice humidifier rated for 2500 square feet. It definitely emits vapors well into the room. I’m not sure it would humidify the entire house, but does a pretty good job in our main living areas to boost humidity levels. I have set humidity level to 60%, but have only seen the percentages raise 2-5% after running all day (and some nights) to see what would happen. The tank is huge at over 5 gallons and is easy to fill by taking the bottom off and filling at the kitchen sink with a pull out nozzle. Usually the 5 gallons will last a day or two before refilling is needed. I have cleaned the unit once, very easy to take apart the pieces and clean out to prevent mold growth. Overall we are very happy with the purchase. While it does not raise humidity level quickly (and likely would be the same for any humidifier), it does work and I’m no longer being shocked after walking across a rug and touching a light switch, TV, or my wife!

Great product. Well designed and very effective in humidifying the large area. I use it in the room where I keep my guitar so I can keep the room at 55% humidity and it does a great job. The only issues I have had are at the lightbulb, went out after 13 months, but they are sending me a replacement part. The only other issue is the top design. To fill from the top the lid is a little awkward to remove and you have to pour the water in fairly slowly to avoid overflowing, but that’s really a small issue. Overall, great product that we have used now for a year and it works well. Quite versatile and the volume of humidity it puts out and easy to adjust control.

Update: After someone finally contacted me from the company after multiple attempts, I did receive my money back. They offered to reimbursement me through PayPal (Goods and Services which meant I had fees taken out) or replace with a completely different model (of lesser value.) I opted for reimbursement but still find very odd they wanted to reimburse through PayPal which is not how i paid for it. I still chose that option and 48-72 hrs later I did infact get my money back. I should have read the reviews better. First - when it was working it was fantastic. Kept the humidity up. There was the the white dust it put out which is not great, but hey I could live with wiping/dusting more just to have the extra humidity. The second week, right after telling a few ppl about this one, it just stopped. It was on working fine. The water was getting low so we shut it off, filled it up and went to turn on - NOTHING!!!! We checked another outlet, we let it dry out for a couple of days - STILL NOTHING! Tried contacting the manufacturer via chat and email - nothing! No response. Sat on hold for 25 min via phone, then it hung up. Tried one more time - same thing. I get that there are manufacturing defects. Not everything is perfect. I can accept this. However, when there is ZERO communication with the manufacturer when there is a year warranty and it has not even made it past the month point - including ordering and shipping time - that is the issue. Save yourself the money! It is more than likely a $200+ loss as we no longer have the box (who has the place to store boxes for all the appliances you purchase), so I am trying to figure out if/and how we can return it. Again, look elsewhere for something with at least better customer service!!!

This humidifier has so-far, exceeded our expectations. The design is compact and sleek, it is 24 in. high and 9.5 in. x 9.5in. square, so it takes up little floor space. There is a single discharge spout on top which can be rotated 360 deg to direct the vapor output. The unit is surprisingly quiet; there are 3 output levels and at setting 1 it's almost silent, even at 3 you barely notice it. The output is substantial but the 1500 sq ft capacity is a big stretch, especially given the dry winter air here in the upper Midwest. The controls are simple to operate, we like the convenience and simplicity of the included remote. The controls and functions are well thought out. There is a LED tank light that lets you see the water level from a distance, but it can be shut off with the push of a button. The digital LED humidity and power reading remains on unless the unit is turned off. The digital read features white numbers and symbols, just bright enough to easily read but does not project light into the room at night. If you want more light you can turn on the tank light and it acts as brighter night light. It holds 5 gal. of water so depending on the output setting used, it usually only needs to be filled once a day. Filling with water is the one area that could be improved, to fill you must lift and slide the two piece top pump and reservoir assembly and set it across a corner because there is a hose and pump assembly that hangs down in the tank; not a big problem but the unit should have a catch or hook to keep the pump assemble from falling to the floor if bumped while filling the tank. We are very happy so far, and will post an update after 3-4 weeks of continuous operation. Update and correction: It's still working flawlessly. After rereading the manual I learned the unit can be filled from the top by lifting the black lid and pouring into a reservoir bowl around the output spout. However you must pour carefully and not overflow the reservoir bowl. For faster refills I'll still lift and slide over the whole head assembly so I can pour quickly from a 3 gal. pail.

Excellent product. Very quiet and effective. Cycles on and off maintaining humidity within 3% of setting. I’ve only cleaned it once so far but it was easy and straightforward. Our apartment is only 900 sqft, well below its capacity, so the five gallon tank lasts almost a week. We have vinyl plank flooring and have had zero issues with wet floors (that’s without using the extension tube). BTW, we live in the Nevada desert where humidity is regularly in the 20’s. Great product!

Pros: Humidity output is great. Heat function works well Customer service is excellent Cons: Droplets on lid can roll over the side and pool on the floor Additional details: I’ve had this humidifier for a couple of months and it works really well. I lost the extended mist tube and have just been using the mist nozzle which can allow some droplets to form on the lid that can run over the side and pool on the floor. I don’t think this will be an issue if I had the extended nozzle, so that’s on me more than the machine. What really impressed me was the responsiveness of their customer service when I reached out to ask if I could buy the spare parts. They responded quickly and have been great in helping me out, which was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Based on this experience I just bought another Lacidoll humidifier for a different part of my house.
