Good value for your money. Keeps my kindle safely in place. I would buy again.

I bought this case to use when I wasn't using the keyboard of the official keyboard case. I felt I needed more protection for times I was storing the keyboard and just using my tablet for reading or watching something. Regrettably, I chose this monstrosity of a case. So, if you're looking for a review by someone who actually selected this for day to day use, read on.First, I will go over the good points:1. The ports, volume, cameras aren't totally blocked (see cons for caveat). For the most part, you should be able to use the power button, charge your tablet, hear from the speakers.2. The open to wake feature works.3. The velcro flap thing that holds your tablet in the case seems sturdy enough.4. The colour isn't bad (at least for the blue one).5. If you have no other option, this will probably keep your tablet a bit safer, but the protection isn't that great.Now, the bad:1. The fit. It's not great. I am not sure if it's because I needed to wiggle it around more, but the rear camera sort of sat in the bottom of the cutout, which isn't ideal. Around the edge of the screen, the case's 'bezels' sort of curled up.2. Speaking of the case bezels, they interfered with using the tablet. This was basically the reason I won't be using this case and will try to return it.3. While there is a handle, it's really useless because there aren't strong magnets to hold the front flap of the case in place when you are holding it when it's open. So, the handle is just there for looks, I guess.4. Because there's no strong magnet, in any sort of screen typing position you have to slip the front flap into the little flap on the back of the case which isn't sturdy or practical.5. The material on the outside is weird and an oil magnet. I just received this case yesterday, and you can see in my photos how much has been picked up from my clean hands in short use.6. The protection offered is minimal, especially because it won't stay closed (see my comments on the magnets).So, please consider looking elsewhere for an affordable case for your Fire Max 11.

You’ve got your shiny new fire max 11 tablet and you want to keep it that way.This case is a good budget way to achieve that.A Velcro clasp inside holds the tablet under the PU Leather surround. All the cut outs line up nicely and the front flap covers the screen and attaches magnetically to stop it flapping open.Inside there is a hand strap to help with stability with the case folded back. Fully looped back it also will act as a stand.This case does add a fair amount of bulk to the tablet which is a shame as one of the Fire 11 best features is the slim stable frame.Also due to the nature of a screen side surround it does alter the look of the screen and encroach slightly on the real estate making swiping more difficult right at the edges.What this case can’t be faulted on though is the level of protection. I would happily chuck my tablet in a bag with this case on and for the money there are few better or better looking.

I actually ordered this case in error, but didn't realise until it arrived that it was for a newer model of fire tablet than the one I bought at the start of the year. Nevertheless, I was delighted to discover that it fits my model perfectly, and I am still able to access all the functions (volume, earphone socket, on/off and charge) without any problems, and the cutout for the camera lens is also in exactly the right place. So, there's no reason not to award this case five stars! It is very sturdy, and provides excellent protection for the tablet. It looks good too. This is a great buy that started out as a mistake, and has become a very lucky choice!
