Edit: someone reached out to me through email and offered me a full refund because of the trouble I was having, I honestly think that’s amazing! I can’t remember what I marked the product as Star wise but I have moved it from whatever it was to 3 stars now.I had to have my grandad help me take the guard off the top, and that took about half an hour to figure it out because there’s tiny clips that you got to unclip with your nails to remove the thing.Once that was done, shaving worked fine, the trimer is a bit fiddly though I’m honestly not a fan of it.I’d recommend going for a well-known brand if you want to shave with an electric razor.

My partner likes this type of foil shaver, with the added bonus of the floating heads that he needs to get a really close shave. A rechargeable battery so no more coiled leads to get in the way, and also great for travel, even has a drawstring travel bag.The clear top/shield is removed to reveal two foil heads which glide over the contours of his face in minutes, giving that satisfying smooth finish. A trimmer is pushed up for finer details around the sides of the face.The rechargeacle battery which he fully charged before the first use, and now three weeks later still has enough power for another few shaves. The simple press power button, and very clear LED screen on the front displaying all you need to know; two speeds press button once, or twice, third time to activate the travel lock, another useful feature.The head snaps off easily to rinse away the hair and debris; it's waterproof so this doesn't cause any problems; a good shake, or wipe down with a flannel once cleaned.My partner is delighted with this shaver; he has usually chosen branded models in the past, but says this one performs equally as well, if not better; and I can confirm it really does give a close shave, and smooth skin.

Couldn't ask for better. I used the clipper part to take the length of my hair down then used the foil shaver all over my head, then used the clipper part on my facial hair and this only used 13% of the battery which is quite amazing. It's fairly lightweight and feels good to hold. Gives a great shave too. Very easy to clean and comes with a nice little bag to keep it in. The 2 speed settings are a big bonus. Highly recommend this shaver, especially for the price.
