I originally bought it when on vacation in Europe and it kept cool over 10 hours. It did well in the summer temps. I love it better than the Freo I used in the past because the Freo’s crystals made it too bulky that I had a really hard time getting out the insulin pens.

I travelled from 2:0Opm EST to12:30 am PST and the medicine remained very cold.

It’s a great thing, but if I use the cool pack inside then I can only fit two pens in. If just storing for a short amount of time of to keep safe in your food cooler , then it would fit four pens without the cool pack. Works well, but has its limitations. Heads up if you are taking a lot of injectable's each day. This would contain enough for just over two weeks for me, but I take under 40 units each day. You might require a backup canister.

We were going on a cruise and would have to fly 6 hour, travet to a hotel by the port and board the next day. This kept my insulin pens cool The next day, our cabin steward brought me ice for the ice bucket and put it in the room fridge. Perfect for 8 days. No more worries.

UPDATE: After stating my cooler cap on my original review, the company reached out and mailed me a cooler. Updated review from 2 to 4 stars, good customer service isn't easy to find!This insulin cooler is nice to have to keep a few insulin pins cool during the hot summer months. I had a hard time getting 4 to fit in the cooler. After removing insulin caps it did work but it was tight. Worked well for hiking but when using at the theme parks after a few months the ice pack cap broke making it pretty useless. I finished the vacation by putting the ice pack in a zip lock bag but those aren't durable. Just bummed because it's pretty useless now.

Very disappointed in this cooler. The write up states will keep between 36-46 degrees F for up to 25 hours. That's a joke and unreal. Actual time was less than 18 hours with the Gel pack in the freezer for 24 hours. And the cooler was at room temperature of 73 degrees F. Would hate to see how shot of a time this would last if the ambient temp was at 104 degrees F as noted in the write up. Had to rotate often with the secondary Gel pack I purchased and the 'emergency' bottle that came with this cooler. Would not recommend - keep looking or monitor often to change out the cooling media

This product makes it so much easier to take my insulin pens traveling over a long weekend. It's easy to keep the inner tube frozen until needed. Stays cold a long time. I can fit 2 Humalog & 1 Tresiba pens easily. I can easily stick the entire unit into a small cooler towards the end of a long trip if needed as it stays cold. It easily fits into the mini fridge tiny freezer units in hotel rooms. I recommend this product for diabetics to keep your insulin pens safe & cold.

It did not even last 12 hours at 2 or 8 Celsius 22 C ambient After 12 hours kekhealth thermometer was 18 Celsius my thermometer 12 Celsius . Put in 2 thermometers to make sure . Because the kekhealth thermometer registered higher than the thermometers I have in my fridge . I wanted to make sure of the temperature inside the cooler for my meds Dissatisfied with product and the claim of 20hours at 40c ambient or eligible for return

Es de una calidad excelente, se mantiene frío, hasta ahora lo he probado solo por 24 hr y muy bien, me dio la tranquilidad que requería para mantener a temperatura 2-8°C mi medicamento. El tamaño es muy práctico, cabe perfectamente en el bolso de mano. Lo unico es que en mi caso caben 2 plumas pero con "maniobra" ya que una de las plumas es mas ancha. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
