Great product and gets very hot. I used this in my hot tub and it works excellently.
I like this product, works exceptionally well and has a great heat out put for the wattage. Cuts our heating time down greatly so that we're using great energy to generate heat.

Better than expected
Replacement elements for our “old” (25 yr old) Tankless water heater. These look like they will last beyond our needs for another replacement. Best price, fast to arrive, as advertised.

Great elements for the price, except for the rubber seal
I bought these to improve my water heater's response time. My water heater came with two 4500 watt elements that turn on separately. It has 8 gauge wiring and 40 amp breaker going to the water heater. So plenty of power available. In order to run these higher wattage elements I had to rewire my water heater with 10 gauge wiring. This was fairly easy, basically just disconnected the old wires and taped the new wires to them and pulled it through. These are nice stainless steel elements, and I've noticed a huge improvement in recovery. It seems fast enough actually that I haven't been running out of hot water like I used to. They are quieter in operation being low density. Basically the fold back design gives more surface area to spread the wattage out over which is supposed to make them not only quieter but reduce calcium deposits. One thing I do not like about these is the rubber seal, it's too soft and as it's tightened up it squeezes out of place and leaked. I tried several times trying to get it to seal properly and I thought I got it until the water was hot and it started leaking again. In the end I swapped the seals for the old ones and it sealed perfect the first time.

Exactly as expected from a Dernord product
I have many Dernord SS components in my brewing systems and they have always been excellent quality. i used this element to convert my 12 gallon electric brew kettle from a 120v 1650w setup to a 240v 4500w. Of course there were several other changes I had to do to accommodate the increase power but I could not be happier. Shaved 1.5 hours off my brew day, heats 9 gallons of water or wort to mash temp in less than 30 minutes and I run it at 30% power to get a good rolling boil. Good quality SS, so easy to clean.

Works and Fits great!
Installed in a BW 40 gallon short. For perfect and works great. We will see how long they last. These were purchased because of the hard water at the home. Well water is tuff on standard elements.

Low Watt Density Elements last longer!
Stainless Steel Low Watt Density Elements last longer than Copper or heating elements made from other metals. This particular element was a good price and seems to be a high quality element. I will be ordering additional elements. I live in an area with very hard water. The use of a low density heating element should slow the buildup of scale.

Great Heating Element
I use this item for electric brewing. I use it in a RIMS setup. It is awesome. Works great, and the best part is I have accidentally left it on when it was not submerged in water on more that one occasion and it did not burn up. That make it that much more desirable. If you are looking for a heating element this is the brand to get.

Hasn't Corroded Yet
The first element I tried for my homebrew setup started flaking and turned black after the initial cleaning run, so far this element has held up perfectly and has plenty of power to bring everything to a nice rolling boil, will probably buy a spare or two as it seems these good ones are hard to find at my local hardware stores.
