Excellent scope base. 20 MOA is a must if you want to shoot long range (Between 600yds and 1,000yds). It is mounted on a DPMS LR-308 picatinny rail. Would buy again.

bought this set as the montrum rings I bought would just not tighten up on my scope.. Perfect fit, perfect finish and super smooth contact with my scope. this is now my second set and these punch way out of their price range ... now only if these were QD. Frankly I have not looked to see if they offer a qd version ... maybe they do ... regardless these are awesome for the price and they come well packaged too!

IMHO, all of the DISCOVERYOP scope mounts excel in quality machining, finish and appearance. The rings are factory bored in pairs for concentric alignment. No lapping necessary. Ring saddle is left bare and coated with grease to prevent corrosion. It should be noted that the 1913 attachment screw heads are on the starboard side of the weapon and require the (included) TORX wrench for installation and removal. This allows even torque pressure, but prevents quick field removal. On might consider offset back up sights or dedicate this mount to competition matches and recreational target practice.

Really nice quality. I was having problems with my scope sliding in the scope mount on my .308. This mount solved that problem. It is far more secure. Very impressed for the price point.

Mount is good quality and built well keeps scope in place with no shifting to mount. Go by scope recommendations for tightness of scope caps.

This product came well packaged in a clear plastic box The machine work on it looks to be good quality. The inside of the rings do not have any finish. The mount has a built in 20 MOA cant. This really isn't needed for the AR-15 but could be helpful for AR-10. A torx tool and 2 extra screws are included with the mount. The finish is black and there is writing on the mount indicating the amount of torque to apply to the scope mounts and the rail mount. I wish there wasn't any writing on the mount. This information should be in the instructions. There are cuts made in the base to reduce overall weight. The product is lightweight and appears to be made of aluminum. This will fit a scope with a 30 mm tube and they also sell one for a 34 mm tube. This does not fit both tube sizes as another review stated. You need to order the size you need. I'm not sure if this mount will require lapping. I would have given this 5 stars if the finished the inside of the rings and didn't have writing on the finish of the mount.
