I was looking for a new drop hitch for my RV to tow my flatbed trailer, and there were so many options. There were aluminum and steel, tubular and flat bar styles. This one was solid steel and had the ability to adjust up or down almost 6", PLUS, as a bonus, the lower adjustable assembly is actually a receiver, so you can use other hitch types (pintle, Hog Ring, etc.) along with the three ball hitch it came with.

Very heavy and solidly built. The pins provided appear strong, but have a slot to retain the safety pins instead of holes. Plus, they are rather a loose fit and allow for some wiggle which does make noise. The rattle proof bolt provided has no visible place to install it, that I could find. If there was a threaded hole on the receiver portion is may make a difference. There is no mention of where it goes in the very brief installation directions. It still is very adjustable, works, and is heavy enough to hold a lot of weight---but I've not yet pulled any heavy loads.

This is a heavy-duty tri-ball receiver...did I mention Heavy-Duty. It does protrude approximately 13 inches beyond your bumper if your hitch is even with your bumper. So, you may need to extend your safety chains. If your hitch protrudes an inch or more beyond your bumper, you can use the tri-ball piece separately. I did have to contact them due to an issue; they responded the next business day and promptly took care of it. Excellent customer service, solid product. If the length is not an issue, buy it.

Very heavy duty and good for any size trailer and any height you may need for a level trailer

Needed a drop hitch for my new Silverado 2500 HD pickup. Found this one that offers adjustability and capacity for any trailer or equipment I might haul. Comes with all three standard ball sizes. It's constructed of solid bar stock, not square tubing. Delivery was fast. Price wasn't much more than buying a single fixed drop hitch and ball. Price was half of what a similar hitch at my local Harbor Freight was even using their 20% off coupon.
