D'Addario Ukulele Strap - Clip On - Eco-Comfort - Ukelele Strap No Drill Needed - Black

This is the perfect strap for those of us who prefer not to have strap buttons installed on our 'ukuleles. I use these on both my low end and high end 'ukuleles, concert and tenor size. It works for me while standing or sitting, as it provides plenty of support. The sound hole hook is made of soft rubber which prevents scratching the instruments. I am used to support my 'ukulele with my right arm, so the instrument falling over is not an issue. I highly recommend!

I bought a Kanile'a K-3 tenor recently and need a strap to be able to play while standing up. I don't want to drill a hole on my new ukulele, so I originally planed to buy the Jake Shiabukuro strap. But I was also concerned that the metal hook might scratch the finish of the uke. Until I found this product, only half of the price, and the hook is said to be a soft rubber, so I decided to give try. It works great! Just was I expected. The hook is soft compared with other 10-20 straps with plastic hooks that I saw at the guitar center. It hols the uke pretty well. If you use a guitar-type strap, you might need some time to get used to it. But once you do, it works perfect. I am petite (5'3"), the strap is a little long for soprano, but great for concert and tenor.The only drawback is that it's still a little pricey, considering it's just a strap with a few plastic pieces.

Saw a similar strap used by Jake Shimabukuro (on MasterClass).While it may not be required for playing alone or seated, my fingering & posture is erratic without a strap—so using the strap (standing or seated) maintains position and I can have consistent chord shape. Very well made and comfortable. Does not harm my uke, and frees up my left hand as it ticks under my right arm—when needed.

well made and sturdy but not sure why it is so short. You cannot hook this on to buttons on your uke and then have the strap go around your neck and under one arm as it's too short. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I'd like to use it so the strap goes under one arm similar to a guitar strap. The only way around this to me is to buy an attachment--a quick release clip that would lengthen this.

I first saw ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro wearing a strap like this. No need to drill or otherwise alter the instrument. You do need to hold it against your body, but the strap is completely adjustable—to perfection—and removable in a second or two. It allows you to position the ukulele right where you prefer without the need for you to clasp onto it. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth the few extra bucks!

The materials are very nice. The sound hole hook is terrific. That's the good; the rest isn't. The strap is not sufficiently adjustable for me. I'm short with short arms and like my ukes to ride high when I play. For me this strap can't be adjusted to get a good fit. The ukuleles ride too low and the hook part of the strap is not adjustable. When I adjust the top part large enough to fit over my head, the ukuleles hang too low for me. Maybe if I was 6" 2" and not 5' 4" the strap might work. If only they had designed this so there were more adjustments available it would have been a real winner. Even if the over the head part were one strap rather than two it would be better. As it is, it's at best just okay. Plus, it's fairly expensive.

I have several different Ukulele straps including one other that clips into the sound hole as this one does. This is a comfortable strap and very adjustable. The rubber clip or the sound hole will not mar the finish on the uke as hard plastic clips tend to do. This strap is a little more expensive that other clip on style straps,m but well worth the extra expense.

小柄な私などにぴったりです。長さ調整部分は金具では無いので楽器にも優しく、シンプルイズベストな選択だったと嬉しく思います。シートベルトタイプよりもベルトが肩から滑り落ちない点も良いです。
