I choose this ebike for the safety features and cafe racer style. If you are looking for a lighter side ebike with cafe racer style, this is a good entry ebike to start with. Great for cruising or mild terrain trails. Full suspension with the rear shock have three height adjustment set. Top speed is under 30mph. Safety signals in the front. No rear signals, but can be modified to accept rear signal lights. The rear driving light is battery powered. I recommend a motion sensor brake light that activates when braking.Customer service is excellent for me. Conveniently, I'm not too far from the distribution center. After 9 months of use, the controller malfunctioned and Smartravel replaced when I visited them to address my issue.The cons:- no rear signals- rear riding lamp is battery operated( recommend a USB charged riding/brake light)- more for light cruising- Tires will puncture with trail thorns. HIGHLY recommend the Tannus Inner tire armor or puncture resistant tires(will reduce speed a little). My ebike's top speed 28mph.

This electric bike is rock solid and so smooth to ride.What I love about it:1, the design is fantastic and it looks so cool when riding.2, the packaging was done very well.3, it was easy to assemble, taking me about one and half hours with no issues.4, the seven-speed gears provide ample speed, the dual disc brakes ensure a safe ride, and the fat tires give me extra stability and grip.5, the five riding modes are a great feature, allowing me to adjust the pedal assistance to suit my needs.6, the battery is powerful, on my first ride, I almost covered 18 miles and still have half of the battery remaining.7, the electric bike motor is strong and handles different slopes and road conditions with ease.8, the bike is user-friendly, with simple controls that make it easy for a beginner to get started.Areas that could be improved:1, the instructions for starting the bike were not clear or perhaps I missed them, it took me a while to figure it out with a long press on the M button.2, the battery indicator sometimes changed based on the road conditions.Overall, this bike is simply amazing on both trails and roads in the area.

We purchased a Smartravel Electric Bike 20" Fat Tire for Adults,1000W Peak Brushless Motor with 15Ah Battery,Shimano 7 Speed Gears,Up to 28MPH E Bike for Commute Mountain Beach Snow Riding,DK400 on May 31st 2024. It arrived with a cracked battery housing and arrived later than estimated shipping. Almost a week later than expected and we didn"t receive it until the day we were leaving for our cross country travels/move. I spoke with someone in June about getting a replacement and credit while we were going to be in Texas for an extended time but while in Texas we had to evacuate due to the Hurricane and the bike replacement was put on the back burner. One we were settled in our new home I reached back out to the company about the battery as well as 2 error codes back in February2025. We have not been able to use the bike at all on our travels or once settled. Nothing works and you can't even use it like a regular bike with the errors we have had. They company has been responsive and sent us new parts(motor/throttle/battery) but nothing has resolved the problem. We asked again for a refund o replacement but they just sent us another part, a controller. When we went to have that part installed it was discovered that the wiring was melted and most likely the cause of our issues. The new part was installed and there was no change most likely because the shorted controller damaged the motor and the replacement motor. I have emailed the company again about a full refund or replacement product and while they have been responsive in the past it has now been 2 days with no response. We definitely will not be recommending or using the company again and we are in the market for another ebike as well. It's really a shame because we liked the bike but the quality just isn't there. Especially when you paid $1300 for a product a year ago that is now selling for much much less. I will not stop fighting until we are fully refunded or given a quality replacement.

Had my DK400 for a few hundred miles now. Good lightweight ebike. I beat the heck out of mine and have only scratched the paint.Seat and rack area comes a couple mm off center, so be prepared to pry the rack into place as you insert the screws, but you can get them to seat fully. Be sure to bed in the brakes before you ride, or you will have to replace the pads and rotors. I'd recommend organic pads, much quieter. Rear suspension sucks, it's just a spring. Plan on upgrading this, even a $40 one is a huge upgrade. Bike will do nearly 32mph, and I'm seeing real world range of around 25-30 miles on throttle only averaging like 18mph.Customer service has been great to deal withI've emailed them a few questions, and they always reply within a day or two with a detailed answer. They've even been helpful when modifying the bike.
