This laser attachment was a gift from my wife, and I have not been compensated for this review in any way.I have used laser engravers as a hobby for 3 years; had 2 different brands and have upgraded 3 times. Now I have an Xtool D1 Pro 20 watt laser engraver. I have mainly used Lightburn during that time. I have never used a rotary attachment. So, when my wife had me pick out one, I had a great deal of trepidation not knowing what I was getting in to. After researching, I decided this Longer one was what I wanted.As I unpacked it, my impression was that it was made by people who take pride in their work. The heft, fit and finish are impressive. The instructions are excellent, even including Lightburn instructions. After taking some of it apart just for curiosity, I found my first impressions were correct. I Have used both sets of included jaws as well as posts to hold round objects. As is usual with laser products, Allen wrenches are included, but surprisingly, the included mini level is critical. The included tape measure is a nice addition. While it may sound trivial, the plastic bags the parts are packed in is a heavier, slippery plastic, which makes them easy to close and reopen, making them the best such bags I have used for item storage.As I had never taken cables off my laser axes before, I had some confusion hooking it up to my laser with one of the included cables, but was soon able to try my first engraving – which worked.Having now used it to do engraving on several glass cylinders; and a large glass mug with a large handle, I realize that I made an excellent choice. Having never had a rotary attachment before, I cannot compare it to any other rotary. Even so. my experience may be helpful. Engraving is straightforward with the Longer attached to the Xtool using Lightburn. There is a learning curve just learning to use a rotary attachment. I am still trying combinations of inner and outer jaws for holding the work. I also found that shrinking the Y axis of a design to 83% in Lightburn has eliminated the distortion caused by engraving on a round object.One change I will make is to add self-adhesive Vinyl bumpers on the ends of the jaws to help hold glassware without slipping; which will require less force to secure items and help hold odd shaped items.While no Amazon reviews gave me pause, along with not stating it would work with the Xtool, I received it in one day, and I am extremely satisfied and would strongly recommend it.

Unfortunately, there was a bit of a misunderstanding when I initially purchased. I am new to engraving, but was looking for a machine that would do simple names on very small pieces of 925 sterling silver jewelry. I was originally told that this machine would meet those needs. This was a few months ago, I have since learned a lot and had I educated myself a bit more I would have known that the machine was not what I needed. However, I reached out to longer customer support, and they have been absolutely amazing. I did test the machine on wood, cardboard, and leather, and it really was great. It just wasn’t what I personally needed. I did return it, but am actually pretty sure I’m going to purchase the 12w instead and replace my current 925 sterling silver inventory with stainless steel, because I really feel good about this brand. When you are new to something such as this, having a brand that supports you in such a way is priceless. I have spoken with so many different manufacturers and companies in regards to different machines and none of them have been as helpful as the customer support at longer. They have absolutely gone above and beyond to answer any questions that I have had and to provide me with different options so that I am able to make an informed decision about the future of my business. I really can’t say enough good things about this company.

The media could not be loaded. This is the 5th Rotary I have bought for my Creality 22W Pro. AND, So far this is the BEST ROTARY.Hookup was SEAMLESS. It is the sturdiest, largest rotary I have seen. ITS A THING OF BEAUTY.🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 nothing goes wrong but it cut 3 40oz tumblers today, no movement/sliding off, no jumping, no BAD PROGRAMMING that has made the laser bang against the side of the laser itself, connects with Lightburn PERFECTLY & FAST. I am SOOOOO IMPRESSED this far and am really hoping it stays THIS PERFECT!All the other Rotary’s broke, caliper/jig covers ripped after the first use, had major missing pieces upon delivery, wouldn’t securely hold up a big 40, 50, or 100oz tumbler because either the bases were too short, no heavy enough & attachments couldn’t be attached to the base to balance the end of the tumblers but this one is an impressive 14.5” long and attaches to the base of the rotary and is almost as large as the laser itself and that’s a WIN on its own!Will be back to do another review if it falters but I’m not expecting it to. I am EXCITED!!!

It's just a frame that does nothing, don't recoment

These are flexible and thin but don't dent easy. It seems to hold the engraving pretty well. The color variety is nice and these add a little something extra over paper cards.

I first bought the Longer Ray10w laser, but it didn’t do well with small fonts under 12 pts(kept it for doing cuts and larger designs), so I knew I needed something for finer details. I found this one, and it was exactly what I needed at a great price. I’m honestly so happy with it—it works great, and it looks awesome next to my space gray MacBook Pro. Plus, it’s super lightweight and doesn’t take up much space at all.I did run into an issue that Amazon couldn’t (or willing to) help with, and was told to reach out to the brand. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they were amazing. They really went out of their way to help me, and it felt like they genuinely cared about making sure I was satisfied. When I couldn’t get through on the phone, they called me back—without me even leaving a message. That kind of service really impressed me!
