Great Value - PTU-X | Plug-on XLR Wireless Transmitter Receiver System
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Wireless System for My Shure SM58I picked this up to use with my Shure SM58, and honestly, I’m super impressed. Setup was quick and easy — just plug it in and go. The sound quality is crystal clear with no interference or weird noise, even in a room full of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices.I walked around a big event space and had no dropouts at all — the range is seriously solid. Battery life is good, after 3 hours still had over 60%. It even has phantom power if you need it for other mics.If you're looking to make your wired mic wireless without sacrificing sound or reliability, this is a killer option. Totally worth it.

Great Product
Upon arrival the packaging of the PTU-X was very well put together. After opening the package I realized the build quality was very solid. The units themselves had some good weight to them and did not feel cheap and did not feel like they would be easily damaged. The units are easy to charge with the cable that was included. When first powering the units on I noticed how easy they are to use making the functionality simple. Just by looking at them it is pretty self explanatory. Switching channels and getting them to sync up is super simple. Once I hooked them up to my speakers being used as wireless xlr, they worked flawlessly. There was no delay in the signal and the clarity was great. Will have to test more to see how long the battery will last. During my testing it did not use hardly any battery. Phenyx Pro thought of it all when they included the carrying bag for easy transportation to events. Over all I would highly recommend this product. Phenyx Pro has done it again!

Works good with limitations
I'm using these to send wireless audio signal to auxiliary speakers. I'm a wedding DJ and I use these when I need send signal to outdoor secondary speakers at receptions where I need to cover sound in 2 spaces without running cords. I would never use them as my primary send to my mains. They do experience the occasional drop out or minor pop but are pretty solid 99% of the time and work great for my usage.

These sound so clean, MOST wireless guitar/XLR transmitters are not this clean sounding
I am very happy with the quality of this product. As usual, Phenyx Pro has the best quality at an affordable price point. These UHF wireless XLRs and the Joyo's 5.8Ghz wireless XLRs are the cleanest sounding by far. Unfortunately, 5.8Ghz only has 4 channels available. So, my 4 Joyo's are the maximum.Personally, I would never buy a 2.4Ghz wireless system, because of the crowded use of 2.4GHz. Our electric dobro player uses an Xvive 2.4Ghz wireless guitar system that is always noisy in some of our indoor Venus. The Lekato 5.8Ghz wireless guitar system is also very clean but can't be used on the same channel as the Joyo 5.8Ghz XLR. The Lekato UHF WS-70 is good for live sound, but has some noise, so don't use for recording. I use the Swiff UHF WS-50 for my guitar, it is clean for guitars but for bass has some noise and has dropped out on rare occasions. For bass, I use the Lekato 5.8Ghz. It is so clean on the bass, but it needs to be line-of-sight. These Phenyx Pro XLR wireless transmitters work fine without line-of-sight.After using this Phenyx Pro wireless XLR system, I bought another. Got it yesterday and love them both. I've been using 6 Phenyx Pro wireless mics since 2022 with no problems.Great products Phenyx Pro.

Good for only one thing
Seems to work ok sending from a mixer to a powered speaker, but can’t get any channel to work with a microphone. Loud chirps or honks on all channels on both of the units I purchased. Disappointing

Had high hopes for this!
The media could not be loaded. I’m a sucker for a good wireless system.I use several Phenyx Pro products and trust them 100%. I was stoked when they came out with the PTU-X since the no-brand wireless adapters I use are a little finicky.Out of the box, the units feel tough and sturdy.Definitely road worthy. It’s a plastic housing with metal on the upper section. They have some good weight to them. The thing I love about adapters like this is the pre amp switch. Having that “mic” option plus phantom power is a deal breaker for me. Line level sometimes just doesn’t do it. The clarity of the signal while producing sound is as clear as it gets. Tested on a Behringer XM8500 through a Bose S1 Pro+.However, here’s where it let down. On standby, wireless signal kept producing this warbling noise on every frequency. Listen to video. I switched on the Bose wireless adapter to see if maybe there was just general wireless interference but this one did not have any noise.I power cycled the adapters and the noise disappeared. I set them down and went to test again and the warbling noise was back. Can’t rely on these if the signal clarity is hit or miss. The clicks you hear in the video are from the a receiver going through the sync process. Definitely dont want to sync these through a live system. There were also some instances where I could not get the receiver and transmitter to sync. As mentioned, I would cycle through frequencies to see which were clean. On occasion I couldn’t re-sync unless I power cycled the devices.I can keep this in my backup bag but as of right now I’m a little apprehensive using this as a main.Maybe I got a bad unit?

Phenyx Pro PTU-X!!! ....The BEST!!!!
The Phenyx Pro PTU-X is a phenomenal unit. It totally exceeded my expectations. It was easy to pair up the frequency. The distance was perfect. I experimented with using a 25-foot cable on both the transmitter and receiver to see if it would interrupt the signal, and to my surprise, it DID NOT!!! That is a major plus for me. I am 1000% recommend this unit for anyone who wants to minimize cable run Two thumbs up to Phenyx Pro for creating the PTU-X!!!

Surround sound
I’m a wedding DJ and these work awesomely ! You simply charge the transmitter and receiver, plug them in to the out on your main speaker and you have surround sound. I have tried them with three walls between the transmitter and receiver and they preform perfectly.
