Thick, plastic-like tape. Good for beginners
I bought the cheaper version of this type of tape and it was no good at all. This tape features a thick, plastic-like tape and good adhesion which helped to make right cut along the tape. I highly recommend this over other similarly looking product.

Recommended!
My personal opinion and usage: I use a Hasegawa TT-1 scriber (conical tip) to gently lay in the path, or the back of a slightly used Xacto blade (i.e. tip snapped off to give a chisel edge). Going from almost no pressure to slight pressure to get a groove that the chisels reviewed here can catch in. I found laying in the initial scribing path with these chisels a bit more of a wobbly experience. Your experience may differ. Once the path is laid in tho, these chisels excell! Angling the tip nearly vertical, the scribe is clean and sharp. The draw is smooth, unlike other rough cheapo chisels (and I don’t want to spend more time stoning and case hardening the cruddy things). The end result needs little further processing, just a 1500 grit sand and Tamiya extra thin glue to smooth out the trench. These things are quality and I recommend them. Hacky tip: Shaft won’t quite fit in an Xacto like handle, so I drilled out the center hole a bit more in the brass chuck to get the working edge closer to my hand for a lot more control.

Very nice scriber for the money
Stedi is quickly becoming a nice hobby tool company. I really like the feel and design of this tool you can even put the cap on with a bit in the tool and the bits are sharp and have a nicely machined finish.

Works as advertised with one quirk
Works really well scribing panel lines in my model planes but has one quirk. There is a nut at the end of the stylus that is constantly coming unscrewed. I don't know what it is even there for, I thought maybe to hold extra tips? Anyway, it is annoying that it is always loose, but without it, the stylus is a bit short. The business end works great and is very sharp and should last a long time.

Solid
It was hard to put the tungsten tip in the body, but once it's in, it's solid (and I like it) The tip was very sharp, and good for detailed work.

Nice construction, good heft, easy to control, be wary of corrosion
Received these from Amazon today (03/15/2024) - bought both the 0.10 and 0.15 versions - and very much like the construction of the bit holders - good heft to them, feel nice in the hand, and easy to control in my limited testing (not too long, not too short). My issue, and reason for knocking off of two stars, is that both of the collets came corroded to some degree out of the box. May return them, may see about using some Scotch-Bright to clean them up, but am disappointed in the condition of the aluminum collets! Short of the corrosion issue, a five star product.
