This item works very well if you have no screens and don't want to spend a lot of money. Very easy to install. It does the job!

The build quality of this adjustable window screen is better than most other ones on Amazon or from Home Depot. As long as you're being careful with adjusting the size, the middle adjustment mechanism will most likely not lock up like some other products.Pros:- Sturdier than similar, cheaper products (@HomeDepot)- Easy-to-use size adjustment mechanismCons:- Not the most precise dimensions- Not the best fit & lightweight --> Slightly stronger wind might knock it out of placeThis window screen seems like the type to set up and leave in its place forever or use temporarily (a few years) for a place in an apartment. It's not made to last forever, but leaving it alone and not constantly adjusting it will elongate its lifespan. I may or may not have broken a couple window screens in the past few months, and so far, that has not happened with this one (4+ months and counting).

The screen is exactly as described. However, understand going in that these kinds of screens are, by their very nature, more susceptible to damage than the full-size screens that come with windows. They must be handled carefully to prevent pulling the screen material from the frame. That said, these are excellent examples of this sort of screen. Easy to install, quick to remove if it rains, keeps the bugs out. Measure your windows carefully and pick the right size for your needs and these work great. Don't expect them to last for years, but even the expensive ones don't last longer.

These fit our windows great and was easy to install. However, they only survived for about 1 year. We are now searching for a replacement. We'll purchase something more durable.

must have for any hot summer. my apartment doesn't have screens for the windows, so i got a few of these to keep the bugs out. had them for about 9 months now and they work great

Very easy to install. Fits in my window frame perfect. My original screen is ripped because of a previous air conditioner and this gives me peace of mind to leave the window open. It is a little flimsy but once you shut the window it holds in place.
