A good substitute for PDM Layton. Not 1 for 1 but the same apple and spice mix and certainly at least 80% similar. It's a nice easy to wear masculine and cozy sent. Apple, Almond, Apple Pie Spice and woody dry down. Very nice especially at the price point

This fragrance is wonderful. It is one of the favorites in my collection. It is long lasting and projection is good. The atomizer is works well with a nice spray. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Nice niche-vibe scent for the price. The opening hits with apple and sweetness, then settles into a warm vanilla-wood profile. Projection was moderate, longevity about 5-6 hours on my skin. If you’re looking for a premium feel at a budget, this is a strong pick — just spray responsibly in warmer weather.

It took me a while to write this review because I wasn't sure what to make of this fragrance. This is my first oud fragrance so I didn't know what to expect. This is a strong, oud forward, complex fragrance that might not be for everyone. The first scent that I noticed was a strong lavender citrusy sweetness; then the oud becomes prevalent. The best way I can explain oud is that it is like a warm musky woody scent; it kind of smells like sweet warm sweat TBH. This oud scent is present throughout the entire development of the fragrance but its more prevalent towards the middle of that development. Finally, a sweet woody powdery scent takes over for the rest of the fragrance's development: it's soft, warm, and pleasant. When it comes to performance, I got a solid 8+ hours of longevity with a strong sillage for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This is a strong fragrance and you can easily overdo it. The bottle is kind of weird looking, and cap can be a bit hard to put back on ( it only goes on in one direction.) I have accidentally sprayed a couple of times while trying to put the cap back on. It's not a big deal for me, all I care about is the juice inside. At first, I didn't quite get the fragrance, its like nothing I've used before, but I ended up liking it. I would say that, if you can sample it first, do so, but at this price point I think it's worth the risk if you like oud fragrances.

Doesn’t smell bad, but doesn’t smell great, kinda an old man smell

Like an apple pie with warm spices, vanilla and cardamom. Plenty of longevity and the perfect amount of projection. Can be worn year-round, but best suited for fall and winter. Smells exactly like a very popular niche fragrance that costs 20 times as much. The bottle isn't very attractive, but the atomizer and the juice inside are amazing. There's a reason this Detour Noir gets so much attention in the fragrance community.

I absolutely love this scent. This is a safe blind buy. Smells very similar to PdM Layton. Warm and sweet, but also very light so can be worn in an office setting. I get a lot of compliments when wearing it, and for the price it's a no brainer. The atomizer is also top notch.
